Whooza poker player? Let's discuss the art of the bluff. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1651874)

I won't be cute or oblique. If Obama wanted to raise taxes on the rich, why didn't he stand his ground?

Did he really think the teabaggers would blow up the economy? Yeah, he probably did and they probably would.

Did he really think Boner and Turtle would allow that? I don't think so. I think they're better bluffers than he is, but they would have caved. They're smart enough to know that a default would be the end of their party. At the very last minute, they would have gathered just enough votes to pass tax increases.

Bet on it, even if all ya got is a pair of sevens.

Well, I think 0bama had a two/seven off-suit.  But that's just me.

Dude really knows how to call a spade a spade.

Hey dude, if one side folds before the other that side was bluffing and never had the cards to win.

Dude, if you think Boehner and McConnell were bluffing, what the Hell do you think Obamessiah was doing?  I can see why you make your living as a slumlord instead of as a professional poker player.

I would love to play poker with the DUde and Obama.  I would accept IOUs from neither.
