Tea Party Hypocrites

As I have watched this travesty unfold, it occurs to me that really and truly not one iota of any of this really has anything to do with repairing the deficit. If the Tea Party really cared about the deficit, they'd demand that the rich pay their fair share of taxes.
The Tea Party is just another secretly funded Republican interest group made up of the usual grab bag of moronic Republican cretins. Their same ilk didn’t support Clinton when he balanced the budget; they didn’t oppose Reagan and Bush when they ballooned the deficit; and now they resolutely oppose any increase in revenues to undo Bush’s disasters.
The only thing the Tea Party really cares about is keeping taxes as low as possible – although, in the process, they are equally happy about attempting to destroy all social spending and most other government functions to get that job done.
I hope that Dems aren't dumb enough to let them do it. Obama and the Dems could just refuse to enter into this stupid "compromise" and go the 14th Amendment route. But, realistically, I guess, that won't happen.
But for me there's still one consolation, Whatever "grand bargain" that gets decided this year (if one actually is, we'll see.) won't last past 2012. None of the parties presently involved can force anything on future Congresses.
Even if the Repubs win big in 2012, they won't implement Ryanism or Rand Paulism. They’ll just cut taxes some more and merrily run up the deficit again. Creating deficits is what they're good at and what they do.

Hey moron, do you even know what the TEA in TEA Party stands for?
taxed enough already, meaning the rich already pay their fair share of taxes, in fact they pay damn near all the taxes that come into DC.
Only would DUmmy think that keeping taxes as low as possible could be a bad thing. Of course the same DUmmies would have a shit fit if we were to raise their taxes. So who are the hypocrites?

And if you transparently-crooked vote-buying mouth-breathers actually cared about "Fairness" or "Balanced approach," we wouldn't have half the wage-earners paying no net income tax, and everyone with a job would have a stake in how the tax money taken from them got spent, instead of half of them having a stake in getting money taken from someone else.
