Every ****ing Republican who stands up and says "we can not restrain our spending"
Every god damned one of them that stands up and says "we can not restrain ourselves from spending without a Constitutional Amendment" dam sure needs to be reminded of this weakness of theirs when they are running in their next election. If they are standing in front of the microphones and cameras telling the world that they are so immature that they can not restrain themselves, particularly with the public's money, then who on earth would vote to bring them back?

You goons sure get mad when people speak the truth. Anyone with the IQ above a carrot knows that congress can't be trusted with spending. Hell the dems are proving that right now, they are fighting tooth and nail in order to add another 2 trillion dollars to our deficit, 2 trillion dollars DUmmies. If you goons think that is being responsible, then you are truly as stupid as we think you are.

1. Republicans love to spend money under a republican president ...
for the things they want to spend money on.
Then when a democratic president gets into office they want all spending to stop so that the democrats don't get their projects funded.
The GOP is what is wrong with our country.
Democrats love to spend money no matter who is president. Democrats are a main reason we are sitting on a deficit that is damn near 15 trillion dollars.
The GOP has had their problems and they paid the political price in 2006 and 2008, then the democrats showed us just how frugal the GOP is compared to the dems. Democrats are what is wrong with our country.

Either you want the country to quit spending more than it takes in or you want to run up the national debt until we're broke. Com'n primitive, decide. But least once you decide, don't start claiming you don't want the country to go broke, or claim that continuing to permit the national debt to increase won't eventually cause the country to go broke, because then you're automatically telling me you're too stupid to comprehend basic economics.

Actually, Tommie boy, the Amendment isn't about current spending or the present government at all.
The Amendment is all about keeping a bunch of future "progressives" (or Republicans) from spending the country into bankruptcy. Current Republicans understand that the political pendulum swings both ways. A constitutional amendment is the only way in which to assure some sensible fiscal policy will endure over the years, going forward.
Liberals, of course couldn't tolerate that.........since their entire agenda is all about vote-buying and control over their sorry collection of special interest groups.
