ACLU Sues ‘Family-Friendly’ Inn for Refusing to Host Lesbian Wedding Reception
Thursday, July 21, 2011
By Susan Jones
(CNSNews.com) - The American Civil Liberties Union is suing a small, family-owned Vermont inn for allegedly refusing to host a lesbian couple’s wedding reception.
The Wildflower Inn is owned by a "devout, practicing Catholic family who believes in the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman," its Facebook page says. "We have never refused rooms or dining or employment to gays and lesbians."
The ACLU says the Vermont Human Rights Law prohibits public accommodation -- hotels and small inns included -- from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation. And that is the crux of the ACLU’s lawsuit:
"This case is about discrimination, pure and simple," the ACLU says in a posting on its Web site. "When a business that is open to the public refuses to serve two people and their guests solely because the two people are a same sex couple, it is no different than restaurants not serving individuals because they were black, or other businesses keeping out women or Jews. It is discrimination and it is illegal."

It's a no-brainer...obviously religious people have no right to religious convictions if they wish to run businesses. In order to run a business in the US, you must show complete approval for any sexual situation proposed, regardless of your First Amendment right to religious freedom. Religious adoption agencies have no right to impose any moral standard on adoptive parents. Religious pharmacists have no right to refuse to assist in the murder of unborn children. If all those intolerant Christians want to be tolerated by the secular government, they'd better just drop their stupid beliefs before walking out their front door every morning...

This was NEVER a civil rights issue. It is a MORALITY issue.
Lipstick on a pig.
Call it what they will, mainstream normal people will NEVER accept it as legitimate or proper.

The problem is that they will continue to attack any Christian business owner that shows any sense of morality until the choices are no morals or no business...then they will start suing churches to force them to sanction their choices, also. Some people are just far more "equal" than others...

Right, always part of their agenda from the get-go. Not so much about giving the sodomites equality by lifting them up, rather by pulling everyone else down.
There have always been some freaks in the military, very few but they were always there. The big push in recent years isn't about removing barriers for the throngs of sodomites waiting to enlist, they don't exist.
The sodomites went after the military simply for the convenience of using them as an inroad to mainstream America.
Everywhere that the question of gay "marriage" has been put on the ballot it has been resoundingly defeated.
New York did not have gay "marriage" on the ballot for the people of New York to vote on. It was rammed through the legislature by the democRATS. They knew full well it would never survive if given a fair shake by the voters.
That's why they went after the military. They could force it on them, a sub culture of the population that was powerless to complain or resist it. There are no long lines of sodomites waiting to join up, they only wanted to use it as another means to force themselves on society.
