Think Tea Party and blowback...
"Political innovations involving new organizational techniques, a vocabulary of vituperation, the use of violence, attacks on vested authority and high social position, and the mobilizing of men at the bottom of society that earlier had been deplored were transforming political culture in widely diverse locales. Whenever the elite was divided, as was increasingly the case in the late colonial period, well-born politicians reluctantly worked to activate and obtain the support of the lower classes because this was their only political reservoir to tap. Though they were called “the rabble†and told they had no right to participate in politics if they were illiterate or propertyless, common people were acquiring a sense of their importance despite the manipulations of those above them. The full significance of these developments would become apparent only when local conflicts began to intersect with issues of how and whether England could tighten its rule of the American colonies. This convergence occurred with dramatic swiftness in the shocking events that took place in the summer and fall of 1765." Garry Nash...The Unknown American Revolution.
This is why those who study history are starting to scream at the parallels to eras with very transformative elements. I will let this stand on it's own. Suffice it to say we are seeing divisions in the rarified elite, and populations manipulated.
She is on a roll of DUmb these days.

Wow! "Transformative"? "Rarified"? From someone who cannot spell "reading"? I think nutcase nadin has learned to copy and paste from an online thesaurus. "Vituperative"? Even someone as DUmb as know-it-all nadin realizes that not one DUmmy in a hundred, including her, knows even two of those words.
Can you say "Profumo affair"?

IOW: The Koch brothers, Rupert Murdoch and the BFEE and deluding these poor TEA Party saps into "voting against their own best interests."
What about rich plantation owners (read: democrats) manipulating the average Joe, Johnny Reb to secede c. 1860?
What about the academics, media, etc (read: democrats) fanning the flames of anti-Americanism in the "Cultural Revolution" of the 1960's?
-
Blowback? Really DUmmies, I'd rather have something gas-operated for your fantasied revolution.
:killemall:
Or electric. Electric would do, too.

She can spell "vituperation" but not "sit in"?
(I really hope she was not advising the DUmmies to go to the Rumble Seat Inn (http://rumbleseatinn.com/) in central Georgia - the place looks like it has some class and they would end up trashing it)

That's two things, Nadin. Pace yourself. First think. Then think about one thing. Work your way up to holding a topic in each hemisphere.

I understand, :-) it just messes with the name a little bit. At least gonads have a purpose. She has none what so ever except for being Captain Obvious.

I've called her Nadine for quite a while now....I'm still not exactly sure why I assigned that name to her.

Gotta come in on Mike's side. You want to make absolutely sure that the target is destroyed. Keep shooting until there's a catastrophic kill . . . :fuelfire:
