When we can't predict...but soon

Last I heard things were looking good under the GOP for Wisconsin.  Those protests didn't accomplish much except for lots of damage to the capitol.

People need to be willing to risk arrest and actually do something to shut the system down, not just march from point A to point B.

Won't happen (well it will but it won't be covered). So wvery one has to be documented.

As to local actions seat inns don't result in arrest no more.

DUmmies are just waiting for their leader to arise from some magnificent underground lair.

The media would cover a bunch of tards taking to the streets.  They covered the socialists and commies in Madison, why not anywhere else?  Your signs will be mocked.  Your behavior will be used against you.  So go ahead and good luck.

Many of us did that in various ways in 2009-2010 Nadin.
You and your ilk tried to downplay it.

To be fair though we didn`t have riots or vandalism to make a lot of headlines.

And the congregation said, "Huh?"

Is that an intentional double negative? Or pure posting laziness from the self-appointed smartest person on the Internet?

As for accommodations for the disaffected - I've seen plenty of "Days Inn". I've stayed at a "Knight's Inn". But in all my travels, I've NEVER seen a "Seat Inn".

A bunch of freeloaders hitting the streets to demand the govt give them even more.

The problem with DUmmies is, they can't stand the thought that someone else has more than they do, so they go out and demand that the govt take from those who worked to get where they are, so those who are allergic to work can get the same goodies.

If they put in as much effort as they do in dreaming up their schemes, into working, then they might realize that they don't need govt to take care of them after all.

Nadin is so typical of DU. She looks at the nationwide unrest in Greece, shudders with orgasmic joy, and wants the same thing here.
There will never be millions of liberals shutting down the country...there are millions of liberals,,,but they can't pull it off.

Nadin, the 60s are over. They're not coming back. Protests in WI did not unify the people behind unions.
If you don't believe me, talk to the submarine captain who told you about canned milk...he knows.

It's not too surprising that know-it-all nadin is continually trying to convince the DUmbasses to riot. Her husband is a retired Navy enlisted man, but nadin herself does nothing of value to anyone. "Arrogant condescending nitwit" is not a lucrative career path. So, anyway, her life in that crappy little condo in San Diego, hard up against a roaring freeway, can't be very pleasant. All day, just googling, googling, googling, waiting for the nightly lineup of moonbat shows on PMSNBC, displaying the fruits of her googling to the DUmmies, every day the same thing, no money, none of the luxuries that should be the right of the smartest googler in the whole DUmp. Then she gets her googling mixed up and posts something really, really stupid, like her lesson on the Sherman Antitrust Act, and the bullies strike.

It's just not right. She's smarter with the google than anyone, and lives in poverty. But if her little flock of DUmbasses would riot, maybe, just maybe, she could snag a wide screen TV. Maybe a Blu-ray player, or an iPod Touch...

Come to think of it, arrest isn't much of a risk for a DUmmie in perpetual quest for three hots and a cot at somebody else's expense.

I mean, really, what's the difference between a socialist state and a prison? I would think DUmmies would be clamoring to get into prison.

The Rumble Seat Inn is a charming Victorian Home built in 1892.
Purchased around the turn of the century by Dr. Smith Rumble, it became the Rumble Family Seat.
Members of the family continued to live in the home until mid-1980.
The home was recently purchased by Jenny Hobbs who has lovingly restored it to its  original period. Highlighted are its original tall windows, fourteen-foot ceilings, beautiful pine floors and authentic antique furnishings.

I hope they are not talking about THIS place. It sounds like a cool place for CIVILIZED people to stay. It would suck if they trashed it the way they trash the WI capitol, the National Mall, and every other place they congregate.

65. Be a cynic, but this is not a race, rather a marathon

this is the beginning of a new worker's right movement. Tell me, how long did it take unions to become legal?

The real push started in the 1880s.

How long did it take for women to gain the vote? Started in the 1870s.

How long did it take for slavery to come to an end? The earliest resistance started way back in the 1710s with the Quaker communities.

See a pattern here?

I could use Foreign history examples as well, but why bother?

Here we go with the patterns.

And I've been to many a march and protest and silent vigil... what I don't get is... why are you advocating taking to the street at this particular point in time?

Yes, I am cynical. It's a gift. It keeps me from sliding down the slippery slope into the vast OMG protests over nothing.

the population is getting radicalized. IT is a process... but right now, people need to protest the deal making in DC, PERIOD. No, it will not succeed... so? Keep at it. The people at Haymarket died...

We have the pattern, the process now all we need is the rhythm.

There is no Ryan's Pizza in Madison. Lots of us bought pizza for the protesters. I remember the name well. They got some of my money and fed some protesters. I could never forget their name. Truly.

I think I see a trend in this pattern, and it's nearing a tipping point. We are crossing the Ruricon, and throwing down the gauntlet.
But we're beginning this revolution with a tiddy-bity of trepidation, because our crack historian gets confused between the Profumo affair and Watergate, thinks Teapot Dome is three separate words, and believes all these scandals are somehow related to the Sherman Antitrust Act, which she puts in the wrong century.

I don't know, it all seems so messy and dangerous, just so a deadbeat in San Diego can hop through a broken display window and score a new TV.
