Breaking: RESIGNATIONS IN THE NEWS: Taco Bell Employee Quits in Best Way Possible

(graphic at DU - "I Quit - Adam - **** You")

Adam was denied time off as requested after working 22 days in a row.

When Adam has worked 45 straight days of 12 to 14 hour a day mess duty (KP) in the Indian Ocean, in the middle of summer, washing dishes in water that smells like dead fish, for a racist Filipino chief, I will be impressed at his sacrifice.

9. it's ok to burn the Taco Bell bridge. That says more good things about him as a person

than had he worked two weeks notice. In Minimum Wage Land, people are often fired five seconds after giving their notice.

21. I'd hire him...he's got self respect and cajones.

Until you short his check (because, as a liberal, you pretend to love science and detest math) and he quits on you.

Nightwatcher, the proud quitter of seven jobs, isn't worth the paperwork to hire/fire his ass.

Hire/fire: just one letter difference in the words but worlds appart. I had never thought of that before...thanks nightwatcher.

And the "f" and the "h" are only two letters apart in the alphabet.  So close . . . yet so far away . . .

10. I'd hire him for the moxy factor alone
Not everyone looks for corporate yes-men. Lots of careers out there encourage thinking outside of the box, if you will.

DUmmy Ruby the Liberal is displaying the kind of judgment that results in a lifetime at minimum wage or on the dole.

I get lots of time off, but then again I don't work for minimum wage at Taco Bell.  :fuelfire:

And lets be real, with employment the way it is the employer will find someone new in no time at all.

Nightquitter will soon be posting whiney little OP's because he can't find a job.
Gee, I wonder why that is.
Yo, Nightquitter, you told us about June, how about May and April. :rotf:
Freaking loser. :loser:

When he applies for a new job, he has to list his employment history, if he's honest. Well...no need to go on.

^! Bump for citing the reality of life in the fleet.

Tough to quit in a sophomoric hissy pissy fit and sulk home to mommy's couch when you're two weeks from landfall.
Had to contend with more than one openly racist Flip Chief once upon a time, long ago and far way when I was an E-Nothing on TDY.

Semper Fi/Anchors Aweigh/Semper Paratus, Welcome to the Cave, GCBill.

While we fleeters have had our dealings with the Filipino Mafia in some way or another, adding "Flip" to describe a "racist" is a bit much, is it not?

In a perfect world, this would be attached to every resume/job application he fills out for the next, well, EVER.

Ahhhhh, yer breakin' my heart!  22 days in a row having to ask "hard or soft" is the picture of hard labor.

 :whatever:

****in' *****...

When you libtards pull 12+ hours a day (7 days a week) in an industrial setting for 4 months straight or do 60+ days without seeing land, let me know.

Until then, keep your mouths shut and put some salt on the ****in' fries!

Only one DUmmie tentatively posed the question of whether or not this may have unintended consequences for the young man's future.

Perhaps the DUmmies do not recognize the possibility that Adam was trying to get the douchenozzle miscreant to quit?
