I've seen a similar picture with a Windows BSOD instead of the Dell laptop.

ETA: I noticed that to the left from the laptop, there is a panel labeled Canada. Is that the controls for the "Politeness" rays?

I like the hand-written notes here and there, too. Some on tape. Some written directly on items. I think I see a post-it note, too. Very comforting. ::)

Edit: I see. I only say one yellow one. Doesn't bother me. I use'em all the time and these guys have a brazillion more things to think about.

No, I get that. It's that they had to write stuff on items or use tape and post-its. They couldn't come up with something a little more permanent during construction?
