This has been a real fun, busy summer. Have a few photos to show for it and thought I'd share.
This is within a few miles of where I live. I like the afternoon storms we get and like the views that come with them.

The next few revolve around polo. I moonlight working for a polo player, and someone sponsored me three horses to play this year. Also got to watch some high-goal games at an area club. The first field in the U.S. was nearby.

Me excersizing on the the ponies I get to play.

Daughter and I taking a break during a practice.

Also got to help another daughter and her family brand calves this spring on their place. The little guy in the foreground is pretty fearless and tried to help the crew by always having another calf caught.

That sort of wraps up what we do to keep out of trouble around here.

Good pictures, great pictures, neighbor!

Wow...what a beautiful place to live.
God's country.

Thanks, guys. Most of the activity in the area revolves around livestock, or being in the mountains. It works for me and makes nice photos, but many who come here think the weather is too extreme and we're more than two hours from shopping and chain restaurants.

It's gorgeous there! Those photos of you on the horse brings to mind my good friend who just passed away last month. She had an Irish Jumper named Oscar.

Riding horses is a good way to keep the stomach thin, isn't it, madam?
The neighbor's wife, even after four infants the past six years, still has a waistline that'd be the envy of 19th-century Victorian ladies.

Beautiful! I miss riding.

lol. It seems to be. Especially if you ride in the weather conditions that your neighbor and I do. On the other hand, exposing oneself to the elements causes premature or excessive wrinkles. We're weathered... like old cedar posts. If character and detail is a good thing, I'm set.
