A post that may get banned
The reason I'm not sure whether this post will be banned (deleted) is because I'm new here and, within a week, I've already responded to two posts that were deleted. I have no idea why the posts were deleted or whether I was partly responsible for the deletions. The deleted posts partly contemplated what seems to be a taboo subject for some Americans but a subject that is gaining credibility among the masses. PLEASE do not let my use of the word "masses" give you the impression that I'm a revolutionary or an elitist. I know I'm not elitist and, as for the revolutionary thing.... well.... not YET.... and I'm a 53 year old upper middle class white guy from an upper middle class family. Obviously, the subject I'm referring to is revolution. Yes, revolution. Right here. In the good ole USA.
I have a theory about whether and when a revolution - in my opinion, leftist and nationalist - will happen here. I don't have volumes of data to throw at you and neat tables and charts. I've seen a lot, read a lot, thought a lot, and digested more than my share of numbers - good, fresh, and rotten ones - and I've seen the world and variances in tolerations for living conditions, poverty, abuse, and freedom or lack thereof. I've seen one revolt.
I have little hope that Obama, especially with a congress of criminals and mental defectives, will improve the economy. The alternative, whether in a year or in 2016 will either be a corrupt corporate conservative or a well meaning libertarian. In either instance, the alternative to Obama or some other more progressive democrat would lead us to economic disaster within 4 years. I'm pretty sure that regressive policies a la bush, Jr. or worse would throw us into a depression of 1930's proportions - a depression that even Fox and other media would have to admit is economic destruction on an almost unprecedented scale. I'm not sure how the public would react but, if they sense that NO viable political system or party exists that could produce a true leader who cares for them.... well.... duck and cover. So, my theory is that we could have interesting times by 2020 or 2025, or so.
Someone in china once told me that an old chinese curse is "May you live in interesting times". Well, we may be cursed.
What do you think?

2. Well this site is not going to foment armed rebellion...
That would be stupid. But an intellectual discussion about the causes are legit I would say.

6. I'd be interested in that.
Even in Egypt though, they needed a food shortage.

3. Read the rules.
"Do not post messages that could be construed as advocating armed revolution or violent overthrow of the government of the United States."

It's truly incredible, sir.
The dissenting boomer primitive and franksolich used to work together, used to smoke dope (after hours) together.
This should be interesting, how it plays out.
<<not doing anything myself; just letting it play out.

Damn.
In the space of less than a week, coach has used those stupid smilie things, and now those stupid Pittian dots.
If he mentions veggie burgers, I'm headed for the cellar, because nutcase nadin is right about the apolcalypse.

Well, damn, I was startled, rendered speechless, astounded.
I'm 99% confident I've known the booming primitive in real life, and in fact smoked dope with him--this was more than half our lifetimes ago, though.
This is the second primitive I'm 99% confident I've known in real life; the other is someone who used to work under me at the Reunion circa 1988-1992.

I'm not so good at this yet.
Hi, DUmmies.
