Ramblings of a brainwashed citizen from the propaganda mill...this is why this country scares me
Lifted off of a facebook posting...these people are ****ing nuts...with no basis in truth.

Republicans are refusing to raise the debt ceiling (which is a GOOD thing) unless there is also a signicant cut in the deficit. It has nothing to do with lowering taxes. If we continue to raise the debt ceiling then we'll never deal with the fact that we are spending far more than we bring in, and that HAS to stop. If we raise the debt ceiling we will also likely see increased inflation, and a downgrading of our credit worthiness by other nations.
The Democratic position is to raise the debt ceiling, spend more money, and raise taxes to try and pay for it.
Social Security USED to be self-sufficient. But as of this year it will pay out more than it takes in. And this is BEFORE the baby boomers begin to retire which will be a doulbe whammy as they not only start collecting benefits, but also stop paying IN. Therefore something has to change.
We're two years into the Obama presidency. Blaming this debt on Bush just isn't possible. Although he DID raise the debt ceiling during his presidency because his spending policy wasn't much better that Obama's. If he had just lowered taxes and held the line on spending we would have been in MUCH better shape. Instead he collaborated with Dems like Ted Kennedy to vastly overfund education, and create a whole new entitlement program.
SO, in summation... Raising the debt ceiling, BAD. Raising taxes (especially during a recession), BAD. Social Security, BAD.

1. I live around them-surrounded
It scares me too-my area is VERY red.I quit wearing my 'Recall Walker' buttons 'cause when I go out I try to engage people in conversation-work in some subtle messaging, and maybe plant a seed.
Raising issues, grocery shopping during conversation might mention, while holding a coupon 'oh what have you heard about the coupon/voucher ? use these to pay for our health care'-'with the way they're turning everything private imagine what we'll have to pay for water when they sell off the water rights'...The grey hair helps, and it has been somewhat effective @ times. There is SOME hope.Maybe.
My daughter has seen this & it cracks her up,because it's so subtle-and she says 'thats so not you' but shes with me on it.
One suspects the unapellated eohippus should stick with promoting infanticide and spinning bouncies; she's way out of her turf trying to do politics and economics.

I'd like to know what exactly is "untrue" about the Facebook post. I'd also like to know what that crazy lady who replied to her is rambling about. Have you ever seen something so incoherent?

Obama's foreign policy?

I believe I've heard that line every year since the Kennedy administration.
Social Security may run its course some day, but I very much doubt anyone alive today will see it happen.

Yeah, you know, side with your enemies, alienate your allies.

See, I don't think he's even been very consistent about that. More like he's completely randomized, and you never know what he's going to do with either one. Bitchslaps or gladhanding to allies with no pattern, drone strikes or apologies to the Muslims, it all seems to have something to do with the interaction of moon phases with the day of the week as far as I can tell.

Yeah I am failing to see any untruth in that post as well.

Just like Boehner said yesterday:
“Dealing with them the last couple months has been like dealing with Jell-o,†Boehner said. “Some days it’s firmer than others. Sometimes it’s like they’ve left it out over night.â€
Boehner explained that talks broke down over the weekend because, he said, the president backed off entitlement reforms so much from Friday to Saturday, “It was Jell-o; it was damn near liquid.â€
“The only thing they’ve been firm on is these damn tax increases.â€

Ramblings of a brainwashed
How can this be? Unapellated eohippus MPI, has nothing to wash.
That would be like catching a fart, cutting it in half, and painting it green.

Yep it's self sufficient but the checks won't go out August 3rd.

The checks will go out. Trust me, I know...it's in the script.
Nutcase nadin has caught a glimpse of the apocalypse, but the checks will go out, regardless.
