The United States is viewed less favorably in much of the Arab world today than it was during the final year of the Bush administration, and President Obama is less popular in the region that Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to a poll released today (WED) by the Arab American Institute, a nonpartisan research and advocacy group.
Attitudes towards the US president and the United States as a whole have been growing increasingly negative over the past ten years due to the invasion of Iraq, outrage over Guantanamo Bay, and continued frustration over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, said James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, which has been tracking attitudes for a decade. ...

I was thinking of bringing the same story over from another source. Just a small excerpt.
The Washington Post reports that James Zogby, the president and founder of the Arab American Institute, did find one thing surprising:
Zogby said that he was surprised that favorable attitudes toward the United States had actually dropped to levels below where they were in 2008. By the same token, he said, Obama has been burdened by the fact that "every one of the issues that he's inherited has been more difficult than he or anyone else expected."

The Zogster seems 'oddly' reluctant take a deep draught of RealityTM and admit that Obama has both added issues like Libya and made the old ones worse himself.

And add in the fact that he has tarnished relations with many of our long time allies.

Just because Obama is in office doesn't mean their view of America is going to change.

Tarnished? Took a massive turd on them would be more accurate. This goof and his crowd were supposed to be the bringers of "smart" diplomacy and have been anything but.
Also, remember this was one of the reasons we just had to elect him and his, to restore our stature in the world. If anything, we regressed to the same level we were at in 1979.

Oh, no.
The Arabs don't like us?
I'll toss and turn in my bed tonight. :sarcasm:
