Mr. President, you're playing with fire. Social Security and Medicare are not bargaining chips.
I never thought I’d see any Democratic president put the very core of FDR’s New Deal, and LBJ’s Great Society on the poker table called “Washington D.C negotiations.†How can you not know that these EARNED benefits are the heart and soul of the Democratic Party?
This isn’t a ****ing game, Mr. Obama. You are playing with the lives, well being and survival of millions of Americans. So if you think that Social Security and Medicare are just pieces to be moved around the board in whatever game you think you're playing with ruthless thugs, you’re deluding yourself.
You want to hear an oath, Mr. President? I take an oath to never cast a vote for you if you give one single inch on Social Security or Medicaid. Because if you do, the difference between you, Bachmann, Romney, Palin, Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and every other would-be Republican presidential candidate, would be zero.
Does it really matter whether we’re stabbed in the back by a “supposed†Democrat, or a Republican maniac? We’d be just as dead either way.
Mr. President, stop playing with our lives. Perhaps you don't care whether or not you are a one term president. But do really want to go down in history as having driven the last nail into the coffin of American decency, empathy and democracy?

Since it was before Algore invented the innertube, and when 24-hour cable news was in its infancy, there was none of this outrage in 1983 when the age for Social Security eligibility was raised. Repukes had the Senate and White House, but there was a big democrat margin in the House. They also made it easier to pass by making the change effective far in the future.
Here come the muslim's True Believers:

all the chips and the accountant practically faints.

4. This is Bullshit outrage.
Obama answered a question clearly. Yanking people into reality and gravity of the situation. Granted I dont agree with Obama on Everything. Obama should have lied to the senior citizens to falsely assure them? America defaulting is serious shit. He could have lied and said, Yeah August 3rd, after America defaults, shit will smell like roses.
This is BULLSHIT. Grab something valid for your rage. This isnt it.

5. Exactly. One really doesn't have to wonder where these talking points come from anymore.
This is one of those offensive posts where a nameless, faceless, anonymous, useless DUmbass, whom no one has ever heard of, insults a
well-established lunatic, accusing Cyrano, a bona fide moonbat, of being a mole. What a nerve.

Hah! That would be a real first for his alleged Presidency.

The HMIC wants change alright. Change the chant to "Alms for the poor". It's the only monetary system that obama wants recognized.

Now moonbat Cyrano has gone over the bouncy line:

When you live in Southern Florida, you meet and befriend a lot of seniors. And I really do know people who are buying as little ground beef as possible and adding cat food.
If anyone does that, it's because they like the taste of Puss 'n Boots.

Just a thought:
24 3oz cans of Fancy Feast is $14.00 or $3.10 a pound.
10lbs of Grass Feed Ground Beef is $40 or $4 a pound.
Maybe these old people have different problems than money issues.

Anyone saying that they know someone eating cat food is lying. Canned cat food is more expensive per pound than most food for people . Potatoes and other vegetables, chicken, some beef and pork would be much cheaper.

$4/lb for hamburger?
Walmart sells the "good stuff" (92/8) for that.
The cheaper 73/27 mix is around $2.75

You can find it for more than $4 if you fall for the "grass-fed organic" scam.

i dont get this line either, its cheaper to buy the cheap chili than to buy catfood, theres also plenty of other cheap protien sources about especially if you are eating catfood then you cant be to squeamish about grilling up roadkill or eating insects or legunes etc. this story has not so much bounce, more of the dead cat thud (mayby his friend eating the catfood is just another nutter like the UGP).
