Ron Paul
Big news! I have decided not to seek re-election for my House seat in 2012 and will focus all of my energy winning the Presidency. My hometown newspaper The Facts will be running the exclusive story very shortly.

Dr. Nutz? It's just plain, flat time to retire, dood.

Take it easy. Take a load off. Go buy some groceries.

"Paul is going to focus on running for president." That just means the Paultard in chief is more available to waste my time in this coming election.

Having to deal with Paul and his mindless Paulbots for 2 years really annoys me.

They're already on some boards, spamming every thread they can find. If Paulbots are there, I'm not, even one of them is intolerable. They're probably all excited about "Dr. Paul"'s presidential election bid over at stormfront, too.

What is he now, like eighty years old? He claimed about forty years ago that he'd only serve two House terms, he's perfectly capable of reneging on any promise.

After thinking about this a few days, it is sad and revealing that Ron Paul is abandoning Congress and his position as chairman of a major financial subcommittee. After years as a gadfly, Paul finally has an opportunity to make a major difference as chairman of a major subcommittee and he throws it away, preferring to remain a gadfly on the fringes.

True that.
