Where would we be if we hadn't lost the House?

Further in debt or with a growing economy? Businesses in trouble or investing in more equipment and hiring?

If the dems still had the house, taxes would have been raised, a very bloated budget with all kinds of new spending would have been passed, 0bama wouldn't be talking about deficit reduction, the debt ceiling would be raised every other week, unemployment would probably top 12% by now, and Nancy Pelosi would still be flying in her tax payer funded jet running up bar tabs that rival Willy Pitt's.

9. What do I think?

I think we would be further ahead on both the economy and jobs.

I think by hook or by crook, there would be more concentration on infrastructure and green jobs.

I think Obama would blow the Repugs out of the water with his vision and energy.

I think there would be less Democrats growling about how Obama is doing and more new Democrats ready to vote Obama in for another term.

I think Obama wouldn't have so many gray hairs and wrinkles. Bless his heart.

Reminds me of all the if Al Gore hadn't of been cheated threads, where they claimed 9-11 would have been stopped.

7. we didn't do much when we had it

Oh yes you did, your party implemented step one of single payer health care, you just are too shortsighted to see it.

Well you rammed a health care bill down the public's throat that didn't want it. That was enough and now you ain't in control of the house. Imagine that!!

One thing the dems didn't do is pass a budget trying to keep their seats. How did that work out for ya? NOT TOO GOOD!!!!

It's ok though. Primary Obama/Biden. Get Kucinich/Nader as your candidates. Ya all will win in a landslide!!!

It's doubtful anything different would have happened. They don't have sixty votes in the Senate.

And TAHNK GOD they didn't keep the House and pick up a few Senate seats in 2010, or we'd have been TOTALLY screwed.

Oh come on now!  The democrat party controlled congress put an additional $5.5 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt on all of us, our children, and grandchildren. In addition the 110th and 111th got the unemployment numbers up from 5% to over 10%. Don't forget that the donks also managed to whisk away, on average, almost 35% of our wealth. Not to mention that there are now record numbers of our citizens on food stamps, a 50% increase. That may sound easy but it isn't.  The Reign of incompetence under Nanzi did lots.
