Title: I found TiT!
Post by: AprilRazz on July 05, 2011, 07:58:33 PM
I am surprised this guy can walk upright with all the medals he has. :lmao:

Here is the link to black five because the original article was pulled.
http://www.blackfive.net/main/2011/07/super-sniper-emerges-in-fayetteville-w-316-confirmed-kills.html
Super-sniper emerges in Fayetteville w/ 316 “confirmed” kills
snip
Quote
Jeff "Rock" Harris refuses to display his medals and honors in his Kinston home.

He tries to keep the awards - three Purple Hearts, two Silver Stars, a Bronze Star, 23 Army Commendation Medals, 31 Army Achievement Medals, six Overseas Service ribbons for combat, an award from the emperor of Saudi Arabia, along with several dozen others, he acquired during his time as a U.S. Army Ranger - packed away. However, those around him refuse to let him forget how important his time in the military was.
Quote
"I have 316 confirmed kills as a sniper, and that's only in that last three years I was in the Army," Harris said. "Every one of those horrifies me regularly because they were somebody's children, somebody's husband or father."

He still feels conflicted about what he had to do, but in the end, he knew it was his duty as a sworn soldier.

"They're bad people and they've done bad things, but who am I to take that away from them?" he asked. "But it was my job to do. Lives were safer because of that - but it's never easy."

I know that this is not from DU but it was a story that could only rival our favorite SEAL/Green Beret/ninja/man of mystery.

Finally   The Rock   has come back   to Fayetteville.

My favorite part:

Quote
Finally there is this bit of “corroboration” which is just as puzzling:

James Murphy served in the Army as a Ranger with Harris and said he wouldn't be alive if not for Harris' heroic actions. Murphy recalled after he and another soldier were hit by a rocket-propelled grenade in Mogadishu, Harris ran to their position and carried both of them a half-mile away "not knowing if we were alive or not." He drove them to safety in a burning vehicle and returned to continue to fight.

Funny how they left that part out of "Blackhawk Down."

It's gotta be TiT. :rotf:

Not TiTtyboy. Douchenozzle Rock Harris admits it took three years.
Tom Wright won more decorations than this during Basic Training.

If it was Titty-boy, he would have mutated one of those Silver Stars into a DSC to make up for not being able to say 'Navy Cross' anymore.

Come to think of it, I can't recall hearing of them giving out a DSC for valor in action in GWOT, or Whatever-TF they've decided to call it this week, though I believe there have been one or more Navy Crosses awarded.

2 SS's?  31 AAMs?  6 awards of OSRs for combat tours?  The OSR is supposed to be for overseas tours for which there is no campaign medal, and all the actual combat tour locations happen to have one o' them.

TiT had a Blue Max and a Croix de Guerre as well. Only elisted man to have both.
He never claimed a Medal of Honor because someone might catch on.

A friend of mine was awarded the Navy Cross a few years back.

Somebody this heroically involved and "special" should be easy to verify as the real thing or a total poser.  I hope, for his sake, that it's all true.

My god, for the life of me I just don't understand people who do this sort of crap. They KNOW some one will call bullshit on them sooner or later. What is even worse is the so called reported that goes along with all of it without batting an eye. Hell even my old Sgt Rock comics.....

Wait a minute, you don't think he just took the comic book Sgt Rock and updated him from WW2 to today do you? It was almost as tho he wanted to make the press look stupid.

I have a headache.

What's an "Overseas service ribbon for combat"? That's a new one to me and I've been working with the US Military since 1992, both as a soldier and as a contractor.

Especially in that part of the world. Maybe he could get away with it in NYC, SF, Sonoma or what ever that city that he was a clerk in.

The CIB is the obvious one.

He has an Air Assault (Army).
Presidential citation on the wrong side (Above National defense).

At least he doesn't have a RVN campaign ribbon.

I see Air Assault, HALO wings, Senior rated Jumpmaster wings, the CMB 2nd award, the CIB 3rd award, he would have a number 3 or 4 on his NCO professional development ribbon, 3 of the ****ing ribbons are actually unit citations that go above the right pocket,

I give up. There is just too much shit to point out.  :lmao:

That is hilarious.  Guy looks like he found a medal salesman's sample case.  How could anyone look at someone that age and take that display seriously?

That's beyond FUBAR.  If I'm not mistaken, the dope even has the Antarctic Service Medal ribbon under one of his unit citations.

WTF is this hot mess? :o Why is a ARMY RANGER wearing a AIR FORCE uniform? I don't know jack about ribbons since I only wore my blues maybe 3 times in 9 years and just stuck my my ribbons in the desk in the living room ( just stuff like good conduct and the like ). But he looks like a slob who raided his daddy's closest. Got to love the haunted look tho. He must have spent hours in the mirror working on his "thousand yard stare".

Wait, just took a close look at the name tag. He is not from the op. Who IS this clown?

Damn, April, I didn't even notice that!  :rotf:

Rebel, I tried to figure out what that red/white/blue one was too, as far as I can tell from searching the web, it seems there are several States that have National Guard service awards in that pattern.  I don't know what the USAF rules are on it, but unless the Army rules have changed, you're not allowed to wear State-only awards on your medal rack, just Federal military and recognized foreign awards (Guardsmen can wear them during Guard service for the State, of course).

I don't. When I saw ribbons going over his back my eyes glazed over. I assumed it was the fool in yhe op that claimed to be the army ranger until I saw the name tag. Excuse the typos. I am post on a kindle right now and it is a huge pain to post with it much less fix errors.
