Godfather’s Pizza to Offer New “Conservative Lovers†Pie
OMAHA — The Godfather’s Pizza chain has announced a new pizza option for its consumers in honor of former CEO and current Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. The nationwide franchise, currently offering a variety of pizzas, sides and desserts, will offer the new pizza during the presidential primary season.
“The conservative pizza will be available in all our stores starting the last week of January before the Iowa Caucus on February 6, 2012,†said a Godfather’s spokesperson. “We feel the pizza not only represents Herman Cain’s conservative political beliefs but has the added bonus of tantalizing the taste buds of voters of the entire spectrum.â€
According to Godfather’s Pizza official release, the conservative pizza will be a pie available in medium to jumbo sizes. It will consist of a crust with nothing else. No toppings or sauces are to be added to the pizza. The official description is as follows:
Love America ? Come order what the Founding Fathers would have eaten if they had a Godfather’s Pizza store next to the Liberty Bell. It’s Godfather’s classic crust with none of the complicated interference of a monarchy an ocean away or bayonet carrying ingredients. It’s a trickle-down effect of goodness for our hardworking consumers.
Godfather’s Pizza did not confirm whether the conservative pizza will only be available in three slices to coincide with Cain’s campaign promise of no legislation greater than three pages in length.

1. The Pizza will also be given away for free...
...since paying for the Pizza would be the equivalent of a tax increase...
