I believe that what these republicans are doing against the economy is treasonous.
It was way back in February 2009 that Mitch McConnell said that the main goal of the Republicans was to oust the president. Now it has come to the point that they are making a conscious effort to destroy the economy so that goal is reached. Isn't it treason when you try to overthrow your own government? Seriously. Abuse or misuse of office is considered a high crime. I don't think I have seen a more glaring abuse of office than what these republicans are doing as they try to trash the economy so they can win the presidency.

"Some respected journalists have been dancing around the issue of whether Republicans are purposely trying to hurt the economy and job growth for political gain. I’m not afraid to say it. It is very obvious that’s exactly what they have been doing since President Obama took office. Sure, they’ve tried to couch their opposition to everything in ideological terms, but anyone with their eyes open wide, knows that they are doing everything they can to try and hurt him, and consequently, the country. ThinkProgress has the facts for us…
From the moment Obama entered office, right-wing conservatives embraced the posture of hell-bent opposition. Recall, in Jan. 2009, hate radio host Rush Limbaugh expressed his hope that Obama fails. One month later, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell proudly embraced Limbaugh at a conservative conference. The fringe rhetoric of far right activists had quickly become the de facto governing strategy of the Republican leadership, as they adopted a posture of obstructionism.
Believing that the Republican strategy of opposition has played to his political benefit, McConnell is pledging to do more of the same if Republicans win back the Senate. In an interview with the National Journal’s Major Garrett, McConnell candidly acknowledged that he feels his “single most important†job is to defeat President Obama in 2012:
MCCONNELL: We need to be honest with the public. This election is about them, not us. And we need to treat this election as the first step in retaking the government. We need to say to everyone on Election Day, “Those of you who helped make this a good day, you need to go out and help us finish the job.â€
NATIONAL JOURNAL: What’s the job?
MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

10. We most certainly can
if there is enough of us and we can catch them. I like the guillotine myself. It has historical meaning.
No violent rhetoric from the left, none at all. :whatever:

6. You are correct
but they do not see themselves that way, they think they are saving this country from socialism
Socialism is not compatible with our constitution.
Therefor those who are trying to bring in a system that is unconstitutional are the real traitors.

9. I've been calling their offices and telling just that.
I call them traitors. I always speak to a "person" and tell them that they are traitors and they the phone person is loathsome too for working for a traitor.
And they just laugh at your stupid ass.

Pitching forks could result in wide spread damage, and may back fire on them.

Yes. Stock piling pitch forks could very well back fire.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means tha…See Moret ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better"
…..Senator Barack Obama, 2006
Senator Obama then voted against raising the debt ceiling.

Mara-ya-ya-ya seems to think pushing the national debt to forteen TRILLION dollars is good for the economy.
Massive debt is good. The economy of Greece is doing so well. Right?
-
A massive debt is bad, very bad.
But casting doubt on the full faith and credit of the United States is much, much worse.

Did anyone catch Obama's address (http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2011/07/02/weekly-address-cutting-deficit-and-creating-jobs) to the nation this week?
He says spending too much money is a bad thing. :whatever:

Bush was never allowed to claim victory in 2000.
He's been accused of LIHOP/MIHOP.
He's accused of lying about things only Saddam had control over.
Bush's best generals have been slandered with names like BetrayUs.
An enemy whose sole strategy was political found willing accomplices in the democrats and their (de)base.
We wouldn't even be talking about hitting the debt ceiling for another 10 to 12 years if not for Pelosi, Reid and Obama.
****ing liberals can't even live up to their own standards of anti-Gitmo, anti-extra-judicial killings, wars of convenience, the WPA, transparency, anti-cronyism, etc etc etc
But the GOP is supposed to the treasonous ones because they refuse to raise the debt ceiling with extra taxes.
Any time you pussies wanna step into the sunlight and play...
