From the 70s and 80s, Superjock Larry Lujack had Animal Stories each day on his radio program, with his cohort Tommy Edwards (Little Snot-nosed Tommy).
Lujack used an animal story I sent in one time! I have this album (LP vinyl) and 2 others.
