I've been reading and ranting on DU for years. So have many of you. And in all that time . . . .
. . . . . so many, many examples of political malfeasance have been discussed. Speculation has often turned into facts. The sorts of things we see happening right now are nothing more than new examples of the same old shit. The brawl at the Minnesota Supreme Court. Eric Cantor's hedge that makes something bad for us a good thing for him.
Day after day we learn (often for the very first time, and ahead of the hahahaha media) things right here.
All the criminal acts of the corporations. All the political power wielded by the corporations against us. Pigs at the trough stories.
It has all be discussed here. We've ranted, raved, squabbled amongst ourselves, and cheered together.
A panoply of shit.
And nothing gets better.
Think about it: we know. They know we know. We know they know we know.
And nothing gets better. Those guilty of diddly shit crimes get busted (eg.: see Weiner, Anthony aka Man, Junk/Twit). Those who do really big, audacious shit walk free (eg.: see Rove, Karl, aka Blossom, Turd)).
We know it. We watch it get reported on the ol' Colortini. We watch the media play with it and with us for a few days.
And Then It Goes Away.
Time and again.
It goes away.
I'll keep on ranting. I'll bet you will, too. As well you should.
But beyond that, there's little left that we can do. I mean, millions, literally, took to the streets to protest a bush war. And it NEVER GOT REPORTED apart from some sidebars and below the fold stories.
We knew it. They knew we knew it. We knew they knew we knew it.
And it just went away.
The last time we sorta, kinda won one was waaaaaaaaay back in the 70s. Nixon left. The Viet Nam War ended. Since then. Nothing.
And they know we know they know it.
And it doesn't
****ing
Matter.

3. I hear ya.
The tragedy is that for so long we thought the people mattered.
During the Bush campaign when some of us fought so hard to get the Bush AWOL story broken -- we were so earnest. We worked so damn hard. An Iowa pig farmer got W's Guard records through FOIA and there was evidence discovered to blow Bush out of the water.
We could not get the press to cover that story.
We should have known we didn't matter. Politicians wouldn't listen to us. Media people snickered.
And look what happened to Dan Rather.
It has taken a long long time to come to the realization, despite the fact that some of us have been radicalized for decades already.
If you want people to listen to you, try not making up lies and trying to pass them off as truth.
The whole AWOL scandal has been debunked every way possible, yet you turds keep hanging on to it.

5. I believe, though, Stinky, that the people still have the power...
....if only they have the will to stand in solidarity against the enemies of the American dream and democracy.
Exactly, just look at the impact the Tea Party had last Nov.
We are standing up against the enemies of the American Dream and the republic that has worked fine for over 200 years.

11. It is pretty sad to watch supposed 'leaders of the free world' steal
pillage and plunder the national treasury on a whim.
Don't worry President Bachmann will hopefully undo the damage that 0bama has brought on us.

I blame Stinky.

Aaaahhh. Shut up and change the cat litter before Sparkly kicks your ass again.

No, day after day you make shit up, and after repeating the lie enough times it becomes DU "truth". Then you turn around and crow about having the "news" that no one else has or will discuss. Well, there's a reason for that, dumbass. It's because it doesn't exist outside your sick imaginations.

Stinky The Clown
Think about it: we know. They know we know. We know they know we know.
We knew it. They knew we knew it. We knew they knew we knew it.
And they know we know they know it.
Ah, but where the sparkling husband primitive falls sort is that he fails to recognize that we know they know we know they know.

I just can't take someone seriously who uses a litter box.

When did millions take to the street to protest a bush war? I thought the lie was that millions of innocent people were killed in Iraq.

"Like sand through an hour glass, so are the rants of a DUmmie"
Hey, they live a soap opera existance...do they not?

BSS, your translation is perfect. He's such a jackoff in every way.
USA4ME: :lmao: H5.

Regardless of their politics, anyone who puts in blank lines like that is on my shit list.
It's worse than those annoying half-screen-long sig lines.
-
Absolutely, my shit list too. It implies that the post author imagines his readership waiting with bated breath for the next golden nugget to be released from the magnificent author's keyboard. But you have to work for it, scrolling down, tension mounting.
Like I said, a jackoff.
-
Like I said, a jackoff.
Yeah, I was agreeing, with due consideration for the ladies present.
-
Yeah, they're pretty tough though.
-
Is it just me or does the level of insanity at DU seem to be increasing by leaps and bounds beyond all expectations? Each rant by the usual suspects tend to be exponentially crazier than the previous post.

If Stinky keeps it up there may be a fresh tombstone on the Island.
Here lies Stinky
A panoply of shit

If his point was that he is a thunderingly ineffectual unpowered dildo, I guess I have to agree with him.
