I must say that I'm still laughing about the John Wayne thing...

Those Republicans sure say a lot of funny things.... but this was one of the best.

Could be worse she could have screwed up and said that a medal of honor winner was still alive when in fact he was dead.
You would think awarding a medal of honor would be a big enough deal that the President could keep the names straight.
Of all the 0bamisms that one was the worst.

I wonder if Bachmann knows how many states we have.

Just a few Obamaisms:

“From the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor….”

“John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith.”

“There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born.” (Obama was born in 1961 and the Selma march was in 1965)

“I've now been in 57 states, I think, one left to go.”

“….when you spread the wealth around, I think it’s good for everybody.”

“If they [his daughters] make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

“Thank you Sioux City” Obama said in Sioux Falls.

“My father served in World War II, and when he came home, he got the services that he needed.” (At the end of WWII, Obama’s father was 10 years old.)

Obama suggested that we need Arabic translators in Afghanistan, where they don’t speak Arabic.

“Well, Tim, first of all, it's not me who's criticized these proposals,” Obama said to Matt Lauer.

“Anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula?...I mean, they're charging a lot of money for this stuff,” Obama said to a crowd in Iowa, where there are no Whole Foods.

“Well let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's.”

“Israel is an ally of ours. It is the most important ally we have in the region, and there is no doubt that we would act forcefully and appropriately on any attack against Iran, nuclear or otherwise.”

“I'm running to be commander of chief on a record of standing up for our wounded warriors.”

"If I talked to Iran, I'm going to tell them, 'You should develop a nuclear weapon...'"

"It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian..." (There is no Austrian language). [1]

“There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers. You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM. You don’t go to a bank teller."

"I installed two-way mirrors in his pad in Brentwood, and he come to the door in a dress."

Homophobe!

That one isn't an 0bamaism.

Dude, maybe put down the  :stoner:, brush off the cheeto dust on your unwashed "Kerry/Edwards '04" shirt, go upstairs, go outside and get some fresh air. Oh...and for G*ds sake, put some damn pants on.

You know what I am not laughing about?

The Idiot in the White Mosque naming a posthumous Medal of Honor recipient (Jared Monti) for the first person given the MOH alive (Salvatore Giunta) since Vietnam. The moron gave the medal to SSGT Giunta and forgets?

More signs of intelligence in forgetting the name of the one person given the MOH living.

I may have to revise my estimate  Barry's IQ to 85....maximum.

Video that has not yet been scrubbed, unlike reading the Irish PM's speech of teleprompter and not knowing it (which is another sign of super scary smarterness). http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2011/06/obama-flubs-medal-of-honor-winner.html

This stuff can't possibly be true. Moochelle (http://dailycaller.com/2011/06/17/cash-for-michelles-mash-notes/) says Buh-rack has a mind like a steel trap.

Quote
“See, what you all need to know about the President you helped to elect is that when it comes to the people he meets, Barack has a memory like a steel trap,” she told her eager audience at a sold-out breakfast fund-raiser at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, Calif., on June 14.

“He has a gift in that way, able to retain information, know more than those who are briefing him, asking critical questions, because all of those wins and losses are not wins and losses for him [but] they are wins and losses for the folks whose stories he carries with him, the folks that he worries about and prays about before he goes to bed at night,” she said, according to a White House transcript of the speech.

You'd think a guy with a memory like that wouldn't mistake a dead Medal of Honor recipient with one who's still alive. Most of his other gaffs are just funny but this one shows exactly how he feels about the military and is a "mistake" a CinC should NEVER, EVER make. The man is a complete empty suit.
