What Are the Top American-Made Cars?
Cars.com's American-Made Index rates vehicles built and bought in the U.S. Factors include sales, where the car's parts come from and whether the car is assembled in the U.S. We disqualify models with a domestic parts content rating below 75 percent, models built exclusively outside the U.S. or models soon to be discontinued without a U.S.-built successor.
1. Toyota Camry
2. Honda Accord

If you're into this sort of thing, they release a list every year.

I worked at a Toyota dealership for years, and was assigned a Tundra pickup truck to use in my work.
My cousin had a Ford pickup.
One day, he good-naturedly sneered at me about the foreign vehicle (at the time my own car was a Pontiac, but nebbermind). On the way out I scribbled down the first few digits of his VIN.
Later I got similar info off the work truck and looked 'em up.
He was ever so surprised to hear that while his truck was made in Canada with Mexican parts, or Mexico with Canadian parts (I forget which), "mine" was 1000% US made...
Now I drive a US-made Honda Odyssey. I think they're built in Alabama.

I just love the ignorant comments about driving "foreign" cars if you do not have a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge badge. I pointed this kind of stupidity out to MANY people and they get so up in arms when I use the VIN as proof. My husband has a Pontiac, but it was built in Australia.
