It sure made my morning.

My internet connection sucks and I can't get the video to play. What happened?

Self professed liberal activist crying like a newborn as she's taken to jail.

I don't buy into the cop claiming he didn't feel safe with her standing behind him. It's not like he was alone. I saw at least two other officers in the video.
But unfortunately the cops are cracking down on being video taped in public.

Why it is illegal in some states is beyond me. Are they afraid of being taped while breaking the law or violating people's civil rights under color of law?
It is my understanding that the justification sometimes used rest on existing wiretapping or eavesdropping laws, but that is quite a stretch of the intent of such laws IMO.
IMO if a cop is on a public street they have no more expectation of privacy than any other citizen.

I'm not condoning what the LEO did. I just enjoyed watching the DUmmy getting hauled off to jail. She's not as tough as she thinks she is.

She maybe a moonbat in love with the smell of her own farts but it really should trouble you. In this age Conservatives depend on regular people filming events that the MSM will not cover. And that means cell phones in a large part of the cases. The last I looked the Constitution covered fart sniffers too. If we laugh and just let it happen to them then it will not be long before it happens to us. And if we let it get to that point then we deserve it. Our public servants must be held accountable to the people. They have no right to come on our property with out legitimate cause, or order us to do something, or take or destroy our property just because they feel uncomfortable.
-
Seems the CNN person didn't believe her story either.
-
Well, it's pretty clear.
The moonbat decided to press her point and it got her arrested. She's an "activist" meaning she's got an axe to grind, so she's going to make a case of it.
This is the equivalent of the hippies of 40+ years ago who staged "sit-ins" and other forms of "personal expression."
If I were a cop and I had to encounter somebody filming me every time I put a uniform on, I'd probably feel unsafe too although, I think it's fair to say that such a defense might be hard to actually support in court.
It was dark, she admitted publicly that she stepped out on her porch without having said anything; there were neighbors and others who were observing what was going on, but something drove the cop to zero in on her.
Personally, I think it's the Moonbat tat that she's got pasted on her forehead. :-)
-
I think she and renewal should get together and go bowling.
By "bowling" I mean bashing each other in the head with 16 lb balls.

She's a self admitted liberal activist. The only thing I need from them is their death notice.
Liberalism is a cancer.

I know, I understand it. Even my high horse is not high enough to escape the schadenfreude. But this sort of thing has been becoming more and more common lately. It is not a good trend.

Again, I'm not condoning what the LEO did. I agree with you but it still warmed my heart to see her wailing.

Yes, it was not as good as "don't tase me, bro!" but it was pretty good.

Yet isn't it amazing that the states which are allowing the cops to arrest citizens for this are typically blue states?
Just sayin.

OMG, she looks like a liberal and she looks so ****ing happy to be apart of this CNN report

Some courts have ruled that there is no expectation of privacy in public areas. Illinois passed a law specifically making it illegal to video tape police.

This woman, Emily Goods, who was arrested for video taping the police is no stranger to handcuffs. She and her boyfriend Ryan Acuff are long time street level rabble rousing activists who frequently harass the police, usually while the police are engaged in serving evictions.
Acuff has launched an activist organization to support squatters who have been evicted from their homes for being delinquent in their mortgage payments yet have moved right back into their former homes after the bank has had them sealed once vacated by eviction. They only seem to be interested in supporting black squatters though.
Goods and Acuff were both arrested together here in Rochester just this past March for such an offense. A local black woman who had been evicted broke into her former home and moved right back in. She lived there for several more months for free before again being forcibly evicted from the same house.
This time the police were there to carry out the eviction. The local T.V. News cameras were there to report on the spectacle and interview the "victim". Acuff's protest crew was there to offer much noise and dissent to the police.
They got cuffed & stuffed, again. Apparently not their first rodeo.
They don't seem to protest in any predominantly white neighborhoods or anywhere out in the 'burbs. Pretty much just down in the 'hood.
I would wager that had the suspect being arrested in the street in front of Good's house been a white man she and Acuff would not have bothered with making a scene.
More on the dynamic duo here~

Great followup, FB. h5
I knew there had to be a solid reason for the cop to zero in on the bitch.
She's an activist looking to make waves wherever she goes.

Yes.
-
UPDATE~
Prosecutors have dropped charges against this activist. Best possible outcome, methinks because it denies these libtards what they really wanted, publicity.
