Ignorance abounds ....
As you can tell by the name I use here, I live in Tennessee, which has shifted steadily to the right during my lifetime. I can't and won't even attempt to try to explain why. I have taken to assigning it to total political ignorance, a complete lack of inquisitiveness, and a susceptibility to propaganda.
So, today as I was returning home from the grocery store where everything has gone up in price comparable to the price of gasoline, I noticed a vehicle in front of me. It was a beaten up Ford Escort with stickers on the rear window. The first sticker I noticed was a cartoon little boy relieving himself on something. I have seen those before and usually the little boy is peeing on CHEVY or FORD or some other vehicle make. I stretched to see what this one said. The word the little boy was peeing on was "OBAMA." Then I noticed the second sticker. It was an NRA sicker. I could do nothing but laugh, shake my head, and repeat the word "stupid" to myself over and over and over.
Perhaps the driver of the car is a gun lover and a single issue voter as many are on abortion. Perhaps he or she has been convinced that Democrats want to take away their guns - all evidence to the contrary. Perhaps the driver only watches Faux News. Whatever.
Stupid is as stupid does.
They just keep voting against their own financial and economical best interests.

My first thought would be, upon seeing the sight, the possibility the vehicle's just been bought by a primitive, who hasn't had the time yet to remove the stickers.
It is a possibility.
One shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Perhaps the driver of the car is a gun lover and a single issue voter as many are on abortion. Perhaps he or she has been convinced that Democrats want to take away their guns - all evidence to the contrary fed up with high gas prices? high food prices? high unemployment?

Maybe sucking off the government tit is not their interest. Maybe they could afford a better car if the driver didn't have their money stolen from them to fund the welfare parasites like you. Me three! One of my former neighbors in the apartment complex has an "Obama 2012" sticker on his car. He's a decent sort of guy, but he does tend to spout the Marxist talking points (from MXNBC, usually). I told him that Obama is likely the last Democrat he'll see in the White House in his lifetime.

:mental: All evidence to the contrary? Here in Wisconsin concealed carry was just recently passed. It had been passed before but had been vetoed twice by former Democrat Governor Jim Doyle.
And is the Tennessee Nag trying to put down the other driver, or assign him some lower class status for having a beat up car? Sounds like it to me. I know a few people with real money that drive around in old beaters. My boss could afford a much nicer car, but drives around in a beat up Toyota that is at least 15 years old. Heck, I've heard that Clint Eastwood drives around in the old green Ford Galaxy from the Dirty Harry movies. I don't judge people by what they drive. Besides, it can be risky putting conservative bumper stickers on a nice car with all the DUmmies running around loose. Some genius moonbat recently defaced two of my bumper stickers. The moonbat added "You should" to my "I don't trust the liberal media" bumper sticker. And "Fox News" was childlishly scrawled across the Obama logo of my "You Lie!" bumper sticker. This happened in Winona, MN where I parked for a few days so I could ride Amtrak down to Chicago. I didn't want to drive down because I thought the Chicago moonbats might have an adverse reaction to my bumper stickers.
