Well...actually we are:
STOCKHOLM – Saab, the Swedish car company renowned for its sometimes quirky designs, moved closer to bankruptcy Thursday after it conceded that it didn't have any money to pay employees' wages.
After months of production stoppages and problems with paying suppliers, Saab said the situation is so dire that it won't be able to pay its 3,700 employees, raising doubts over how long the brand can survive.
Its Dutch owner Swedish Automobile, previously known as Spyker Cars, has courted Chinese and Russian investors and put the Saab factory up for sale in its attempts to revive the brand it took over from General Motors Co. last year.
Analysts said the future for the company was very bleak indeed and Swedish Automobile shares fell by 62 percent to euro0.948 on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

And strange people drive them. I worked with a guy who drove one. High level EVP. Was caught at a rest stop, soliciting strangers.
I read somewhere that Sweden is supported by one billionaire. When he dies, nobody knows what's going to happen after that.

What's wrong with a Volvo? It will haul a moonbat around, along with 200 bumper stickers, for 400,000 miles with hardly an oil change.
And the stage show "Mamma Mia" is fabulous, although the movie is an abomination.

The Kindle edition is $12.99 now. I got it on Kindle for $5.99 a few months ago. Their pricing is crazy.

A swedish road-worker was hired to paint the line that goes down the center of the road. The first day he managed to paint 2 kilometers, and his boss was very pleased. The next day he only painted 200 meters, but his boss thought that he`d probably started off too hard on the first day. But on the third day he was only able to paint 20 meters. The boss called him into the office and demanded an explanation. "Well, you see it`s getting so darn far to walk all the way to the paint bucket," the swede explained.

I'v driven a Saab for a few years now and haven't had any issues with it.
Here's the key:

GM couldn't match the workmanship that made the company a desirable brand to buy and incorprate into the GM family. Hard to revive a brand when it's been given a black eye. Saab would have been better off to have stayed in Sweden. You don't see Toyota, Nissian, Acura, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mercedes, Porche, BMW, Bentley, Ferrari, or anyone else selling their brand name to GM, Ford, or Chrysler, do ya?

Hey, chicks love guys with a sensitive side. Anyway, I like ABBA, and the stage show was fabulous, though I was not among the audience members dancing in the aisles. The movie was unbelievably bad, even if Pierce Brosnan had not tried to sing. With his singing, it went from awful to a whole new dimension of terribleness.

I watched the first 5 minutes, and had to stop. I never even got to him singing. I thought I would like it, I mean, I saw Xanadu. Not so much.
