Candy prices near me just went up by over 30 percent
There goes a few hundred jobs, 'cos I'm not paying $1.29 for a KitKat when it was $0.85 yesterday, and i know I'm not alone.
WTF are they thinking? Don't the candy manufacturers know their products are very price sensitive and NO ONE is getting a 30% increase in pay? I hope this is not a harbinger of doom for the rest of the convenience store products, because I already live on bread, peanut butter and candy... I got nowhere cheaper to go!
I'll take "The Law of Unintended Consequences" for $1000, Alex . . . ::)

Under my plan, the price of candy will necessarily skyrocket. ~ BHO

Candy prices should be high. Can you imagine the carbon footprint that making that candy bar must leave?
First of all its made in Mexico probably in a plant with no green regulations. Then you figure the carbon put out from trucking it to the distribution center. Then when it's shipped to the store that's another diesel burning monster that is being used.
Why do you hate the planet so much DUmmy? All you care about is your stupid kit kat, that according to Michelle you shouldn't be eating anyway you fatass. Go buy some organic grapes or something.
Well, DUmmie, if you weren't putting all that "corn" in your gas tank, maybe food prices wouldn't be so high.
That's the liberal way of thinking. If it feeeelllls good, then it's ok and then worry about the consequences later.
That DUmbass probably needs gasoline a lot worse than they need candy. But high gas prices are GOOD, right?
