Post by: Thor on June 19, 2011, 10:13:19 PM: My impression?? "V" meets "Jericho & Stargate". Was pretty good. Too many commercials in the opener, though. :( I'll probably follow the series for a while.

Didn't care how it started. I thought they should have started at the invasion, but I watched it and it'll be the first series I've kept up with in 10+ years.

I agree with you Kev, I felt like we came in too far after the invasion. What happened to everybody? Did you notice all the parked cars when they came out of the school at the end of the second hour? Maybe there are going to be flashbacks in future episodes, but I think there should have been some last night.

I borrowed "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific" box sets from my neighbor. They were awesome.

Hard to believe that Tom Hanks had his liberal little paw in on making those two.

He did state that he was offended at the racial slurs in the Pacific.
