They left "under God" out of the pledge.
I noticed the deletion when it came on. It made me mad and I was going to post about right after I ate lunch...I cooled off and let it slide but it seems I wasn't the only one to notice.
This could have legs...nice going NBC.

I like how they never have the stones to say they are commie libtards and don't think that phrase should be there.

NBC, the network that brought us Heidi Bowl and interrupted the 2010 Winter Olympic closing ceremonies to air the "Marriage Ref". :mental:

Check out what the most liberal network did to the Pledge of Allegiance in their opening to the final round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. Outrageous!
After getting totally slammed on twitter and Facebook, NBC made their on air host read the following lame "apology", which did nothing to explain what was behind the decision to edit out "Under God, indivisible" from the Pledge of Allegiance.
“It was our intent to begin our coverage of this U.S. Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being here in our nation’s capital for the third time. Regrettably, a portion of the pledge of allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone and we’d like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.â€
This was done in the name of liberal politics and political correctness, as NBC once again showed its true colors and its bias!

Red Skelton did this tape, where he teaches boys and girls about the Pledge of Allegiance in history. It's at least 50 years old.

By omitting "Under God," it was not our Pledge of Allegiance. It was just some words.

last i heard "Under God," was in the Allegiance. to many its not just some words
In 1954, Congress after a campaign by the Knights of Columbus, added the words, 'under God,' to the Pledge. The Pledge was now both a patriotic oath and a public prayer

That's what I was getting at. It's a congressional dictate.

Great American. I love his Pledge of Allegiance and just watched one of his old shows on Netflix and it is still funny.
