1. I think he's a centrist, same as the Clintons.
   
I'll still vote for him, same as I did for Bill Clinton, but I think he has the potential to embrace more issues which are important to the left, since I do think he has the capacity to change, or we can hope. I think Ted Kennedy saw that in him. :shrug:

The Boy pResident is so far to the left, he makes Vlad Lenin look at least moderate Republican by contrast.

Obama is far, far left - he is just smart enough to know he can't push the US as far left as he would like it to go all at once, so he is moving it incrementally.

Incrementally?  He's already saddled us with a healthcare law that will continue his so-far-successful effort to completely bankrupt this country, and topped that off by acting as though he has the right to simply declare laws "unconstitutional" and order his justice department not to defend them.  If he were any farther left, he'd fall completely off the scale.
