Its in Washington this year, I have directions posted in Places/Washington.
I might think a few DU'ers in the NW would be up for this years close to home National.

USFS and the locals will go to great lengths to collect money.
Anything to abridged our rights to Gather.
The Feds and locals will set up a small courthouse somewhere, if you do get a ticket, they set a date within two days of the ticket as we disperse quickly to all corners.
That must be quite an event, the primitives gathering rainbows, but for the life of me, I still can't figure out what that is. Maybe someone else here can. Gathering rainbows must be illegal, where this is at.

Just to hazard a guess........I'd say it is something like a huge "gay pride" campout, in a National Park somewhere. Just envisioning such an event makes my skin crawl.

Ewwww - these stinky hippie rainbow families used to show up in Arkansas where my grandmother lives. They smell worse than the non-bathers who show up for the renaissance fair where my parents live.

They sure trash whatever land they squat on, that's for sure. We've had a couple small gatherings in areas that I ride, but I've only seen their camps after they've left. They first block access to water for wildlife and domestic animals, then they foul the water. Trample everything in sight, even fragile and protected plants. Put more wear on primitive roads than would otherwise happen over several years. The roads, which are vital for fighting fires, then need repair taking resources from other projects.
Typical free-loading, filthy, selfish hippies.

Aren't these the hippie dippy assholes that generally descend on unsuspecting campgrounds like a ****in' flock of vultures, eat, shit, screw, and generally make loud, obnoxious pests of themselves, and rely on their "strength in numbers" to bully campground manager and Park Service type folks into accepting the fact that they are basically STIFFING the campground for it's otherwise due revenues? Many of them get arrested, they get released on PR bonds, and skip on that, too?
Or am I thinking of some other whacked-out, freeloading hippie conclave...

They blew through here once, several years back. Camped in the Osceola National Forest. I remember seeing a few of them in town and reading a newspaper blurb on it, but the Osceola is about 10-12 miles north of here so we really weren't impacted by them. Hippies hate manual labor so I imagine they leave behind a shithole to be cleaned up by others.
