I wonder how many WI Repubs are switching to DEM so they can vote for the fake Dems in the primary
If they are willing to run a fake dem in the primaries I have no doubt that some people will switch parties to vote for the fake dems. The right is very sneaky and has shown they have no morals when it comes to politics. I would not be surprised if party switching is not something they are willing to try.
Huh? :mental:

Well, it seems to me the pigpout primitive needs to know something.
It's the Democrats, liberals, and primitives, who are professionals at this sort of thing, corrupting democratic politics.
It's decent and civilized people who are still amateurs.
All we do, are things we learned from them.

Yeah.
And remember, that's my job, keeping track of them.
I don't name the primitives of the year, but I'm the one who has to write the awards.
So I'm just doing my job.

And a fine job you do. Thanks again for your hard work.
I hope i bring quality bon fires over for everybody to enjoy.

You do indeed, sir, and I notice they have long shelf-lives in the DUmpster.
I know everybody who posts here hopes for immediate feedback, but given the way traffic goes, and that decent and civilized people tend to contemplate for a bit before saying anything, it's always best to go back to one's threads about, oh, a day later, to see what's happened.
The DUmpster's not a place to expect immediate feedback, but rather, delayed reasonable thought-out contemplated responses.
By the way, I was shocked--it was a good thing I was wearing brown pants--the other day when you posted something, and said, "Okay, I won't bore anybody with any more threads today."
No member here at no time--with this sole exception--has ever bothered the DUmpster with "too many" threads from Skins's island.

Somewhere between -1 and +1.

Thank you for the kudos sir. I am not worried about feedback. Just so i expose the DUmmies for what they are.

Right.
I wasn't being Uriah Heepish when I mentioned that only one person here has overloaded the DUmpster with "too many threads;" those are honest sentiments.
When conservativecave was first formed, and I jumped aboard long after so many others had, and Rebel asked me to be a moderator (another case where it was a good thing I was wearing brown pants), Rebel instructed all moderators here that they were expected to post and comment along with regular members, and not just sit on our asses. We weren't supposed to simply baby-sit our forums; we were to enthusiastically promote them.
It hardly happens any more, but earlier on, there were times when the DUmpster was slow or sluggish, and so panic-stricken franksolich was compelled to get out the boat and row over to Skins's island to bring back some campfires, so as to stimulate traffic.
Desperate, I'd just usually grab the first four or five primitive campfires I saw, and bring them over here.
I'm sure many times members here looked at them, and wondered, "WTF is he doing? What's the point of this thread?"
I'm very happy I'm not so desperate any more.

I really like the pith helmet, Frank but shouldn't it be a British naval officer's cap for shore parties on the island?

9. I voted Republican in the primary last fall. I will take ANY chance to vote against Walker & Johnson Updated at 10:11 PM
:lmao: Who is the bigger DUmmie? The one making a blanket statement or the one who immediately confesses to doing what the OP accuses the GOP of doing?

Right.

Actually, sir, there's a story behind the bush helmet, and I actually have two of them, and wear them.
One of them allegedly belonged to Lord Baring when he was governor of British East Africa in the 1950s; a friend who was in London went to an antique store and saw it; that's what he was told about it. But at any rate, it's been identified as a bona fide bush helmet from the British colonial services of the 1950s.
The other one's about three years old; I got that brand-new.
Because of skin cancer which was ultimately declared "gone" (after ten years, in 2007), I'm compelled to wear things that protect the skin out in the burning blistering torridly hot sun of the Sandhills of Nebraska.
Cowboy hats--real ones, not faux ones--were of course designed for just that purpose, and they work.
However.
franksolich looks really stupid in a cowboy hat. About as stupid as the Bostonian Drunkard in a "cowboy" hat, but not quite as stupid as Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, in his "cowboy" hat.
But for some mysterious reason, franksolich was considered (by others) "aesthetic" and "natural" in a bush-helmet, along with the other sorts of garb Lord Baring wore way back then. And yes, I felt eminently comfortable in such things; they suited me just fine.
Given that the terrain of the roof of Nebraska strongly resembles British East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanganyika), no one around here considers franksolich "odd" because of the attire; I blend right into the background, nothing irregular about me at all.

In this case, I don't blame the DUmmies. The real abomination in American politics is the concept of "open" primaries, and states that do not require registration by party. The coming 2012 primary season is a great example. There will be no democrat contests, just primaries to determine the Republican candidate. Swarms of freeloading democrats will show up to choose who will run against their incumbent savior. Candidates that are portrayed by the press as "polarizing" will be swamped, and it's perfectly legal under the stupid open primary system.
The concept of open primaries destroys the primary as a valid way of choosing candidates. The older system of conventions and smoke-filled rooms is far superior to having busloads from the projects picking the Republican candidate.

Agreed, 100% and more.
Primaries should involve only bona fide members of a political party.

What if a fake Democrat WINS the primary (WI recalls). Whow!!
As the article says, we need to get out the vote and take the primary seriously (mid summer).
The real "fake Democrat" threat: crossover voters

................
1. Republicans install Republicans running as Democrats with successful nomination papers (already done, except the papers arel being reviewed by the Government Accountability Board, which is likely to accept them).
2. Democrats are forced into a primary, theoretically running against someone else in their own party but really running against a not-well-known or serious Republican, whom under ordinary circumstances they should easily beat.
3. However, Republican voters, activated by concern they'll lose a state Senate majority, come out in droves for the Democratic primary and cross over to vote for the fake Democrat. ...........................

Translation, we're not going to win like we thought, the people are against us, so let's start getting our excuses together.

In NY-26, the Tea Party split the vote and gave a safe Republican seat to the democrats.

GOBUCKS, the 'Tea Party candidate' had run as a Dem the last three election cycles. The only reason he got the Tea Party nod was that he self-financed. What really happened was that the Republican candidate didn't respond to the attacks on the Ryan Plan for Medicare. I know what went on. The Republican candidate couldn't articulate the Ryan Plan, and she suffered because of it.

A month or so ago, Snoutport was concerned about the school finding about his alter ego after someone mentioned a post that was made on the internet, unaware that it was none other than Snoutport who made the post.
We know that this whole thing was made up bullshit, BUT, Snoutport made a vow to either change his user name or post less.
He has done neither. In fact, I'd say his daily post count has increased since then.

That's a sacred position. There's no volunteering. Only the deserving are chosen.

You may know that, and the party may know that. The majority of the electorate, who in that district would never want a democrat elected, only knew there were two people running against the democrat. The democrat got all the moonbats, and the other two guys split up the decent people.
It will happen every time there's a Ross Perot situation, which I'm afraid we're heading toward. The electorate isn't interested in political intrigue.
