Is revolution in the air?

If not, it should be

The American Experiment is a joke

Time for a new constitutional convention - the old one has failed us

Time to rise up against our real masters - corporations

The government is toothless, they don't matter

Storm Wall Street

Take prisoners

Make them jump

5. It will not happen like people think it will.

It will not be a revolution in the old sense of the world, but we are going to end up having such a radically different world when it is all through that you simply could not deny it was a revolution.

opckelly may see the writing on the wall of the end of the welfare state.

19. I have been pondering this for many years.

You must understand that this is like a nuclear bomb, you're going to have to make it go off, it won't just go off on it's own like nitro.

No, you have to come up with a way forward for everyone, to systematically improve the technology of the economy. The way in which we all relate to one another must be made better, must be brought out of the past centuries. We cannot ignore innate things about ourselves, but we do not have to live with their consequences. We can come up with something to protect us from the worst parts of ourselves, and encourage the best parts of ourselves.

Or not.

25. Well there is one way to systematically improve the economy. It's called 'Socialism.'

29. The world has tried that, and there is no appetite for it.

Planning in the economy on such a large scale is no way to do it.

We need a new type of capitalism, one that's already worked in tests, and can be deployed in some slightly modified form on the national scale:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worker-owned_cooperative

Something similar to that, but with a little better market mechanism. If the people administer a capitalist system, it will work for them, they will not work for it.

What a pathetic, impotent, insignificant, tempest-in-a-teapot and fart-in-a-noisemaker little person Taverner is.  Such big words from such a puny twit.

Hey, Taverner, I have a joke for you:

A:  Fire

Nothing has failed except you Taverner. I usually give people a wide berth when it comes to hard knocks, knowing all to well that sometimes, well sh*t happens, but really how much of his failure in a capitalistic society have to do with a string of failed drug tests and an attitude that promotes an ego the size of a small country with little results to back it up. And even if you take that out of the equation, in a land where freedom and opportunity abound, the way to reconcile the mistakes one has made in their life is not to change the whole system, but to change themselves and how THEY do things. This isn't exactly Soviet Russia or the deserts of Saudi Arabia as far as oppression goes.

These morons want to throw aside the traditional corporate structure and set up a "worker" owner paradise but are too lazy to get out from their keyboards and actually work to achieve it.

I wonder if it occurs to them that in their utopia they actually have to be a "worker" in order to take part in their desired system.

Taverner. All you do is speak of revolution, you DUmbass. Why don't you bring it and see what happens?
Why is it, that you liberals/progressives think that you can "change" America "for the better"?!

Now, I'm confused about the Taverner primitive, and since the Taverner primitive seems to be gaining momentum for nomination among the top primitives of 2011, and since franksolich writes the awards, I need to know.

I always thought the Taverner primitive had a bookstore in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

But now the Taverner primitive's been making references suggesting he lives in California.

Does anyone know?  Am I wrong here somewhere?

It's doubtful he's working anywhere, as an long-term opiate addict and prolific pot smoker.  His piss test would melt the test strip.
It's more likely a methadone clinic he visits every day.

And anyone but a DUmmy would know if you see a street sign that says "Martin Luther King Blvd.", you're definitely not where you want to be.

Oh heavens no.  Taverner's not anywhere near responsible enough to have an establishment of his own, particularly something repectable like a bookstore in a big city.  He's always lived in nutty California.  Unemployable, due to a penchant for drugs, he also enjoys drinking in his spare time, especially after getting fired.  Other hobbies include dreaming of socialist/communist revolution, and spinning his wheels.

Who's the Taverner-sounding primitive who owns, or owned, a bookstore in Minneapolis-St. Paul?

Well, Redstone is TiTtyboy's drug and music buddy out east, and ThomWV is the only DUmmy who pulled all of his own teeth and wear them as a necklace. The stupid Don, with the capslock key, is just a boring DUmbass.

He must work in that ugly blue building right next door.  I zoomed in and tried to look in the windows, but they have curtains up.  Wonder what's going on in there?  Meth kitchen?  Illicit massage parlor?  I even looked in the tree, to see if he was sleeping in it like a moonbat.

Be careful of giving out too much information on the internet, kids.
