Interesting, No.8 and urine as mouth wash, even today some survivalists suggest using pee to clean a wound when there is no fresh water at the sight.

Number nine has and been a fad off and on for years.   Likely caused by infestations of fleas in body hair.  Egyptians removed all body hair as did the Aztecs and Budest Monks.  Removing eyebrows today open the eye and cause them to look larger.

Number 20, so were hot air balloons used to track the enemy.

Number 26, if bananas need man to properagate them, how on earth did they develop in the jungles before man arrived???

Number 38, this may be why we are taught to speak to the just died in hospitals as calmly as possible.

And actually, a googol is "only" 1 followed by one hundred zeroes, not a million.

However, a googolplex is 1 followed by a googol of zeroes.

And the peanut oil one is wrong, at least on American boats.

For number 26, I think the differentiation is that the modern bananas that we enjoy eating have been change so much from original, wild bananas that they are now sterile.  Wild bananas can still propagate themselves, but they are barely recognizable as being the same fruit as the bananas that we enjoy.

July always has three days which occur five times (the other four occuring four times), these are always sequential - it's the nature of having 31 days in the month. There are five Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays whenever 1 July is a Friday - on average this will be once every seven years, though the actual length of time between them will vary due to the positioning of leap years.

"Each year 2,000,000 smokers either quit smoking or die of tobacco-related diseases".

Reminds me of my Great Uncle Harold who passed a couple of years ago from smoking related causes.
Harold was 104, God Bless him!
