Damn, two hundred bucks?  Even American Airlines only charges $50 for overweight/excessive baggage.

Delta is backing down and saying they will make things right with those involved.

Overseas deployment orders, to and from, have generally specified four checked bags at Gov't expense for at least 20 years, which Delta and all the other know damned well.  This bullshit about three bags being the 'Policy' is basically a fraud to get a low price on the ticket and then make it back from either the government or the Soldier on the back end, with the troop F'd over in the middle by having to come up with the front money and then file for reimbursement and wait with his thumb up his ass until DFAS feels like paying it, if he even knows enough to claim it on his travel voucher.  Sonsabitches.
