Mitt is white! Obama is black! And that may be the 2012 Republican campaign slogan.

You’ll never see those words on a campaign poster. But that’s the Republican message. And it’s the one they’re planning to ride to victory in 2012. In effect, they understand the mindset of far too many people in this country.
I really don’t know if The Powers That Be will end up with Mitt as their candidate. And the reason is that many fundies who vote in primaries would never vote for a Mormon in “magic underwear.†But my guess is that, in a general election, they’ll go for the “magic underwear†before they'll go for the black guy.
If Mitt can get the nomination, he’ll probably end up winning because of a partially racist, partially stolen election. And what I mean by “partially stolen,†is that most of our voting machines are owned by companies that can make the numbers come out “right.†And states with Republican governors have already passed laws to bar many likely Dem voters from the polls.
But regardless of those machines and laws, the core of the Republican message will be: “Vote for the White Guy.â€
All we can do is hope that Palin, Gingrich, Bachmann, or one of their other incredible idiot gets the Republican nomination. But if Mitt Romney gets it, racism will kick into high gear and the “Masters of the Universe†will have themselves another puppet in the Oval Office.

Not if people keep giving up on him and dismissing him. A candidate doesn't become the Republican nominee on his own. People have to stick with him and leave all the "he's not 'electable' bullshit behind them. All Cain has to do is win the primary. He'll beat the dogshit out of Obama in the general.

Georgia has a Republican governor and as far as I know he hasn't passed any laws barring dead people from voting.

As I indicated in the OP, I believe that those who hate Mormons, hate black people even more.
In many ways, our country is still a remnant of the Dark Ages. My point being that far too many will vote for the guy they hate least rather than the guy they hate most. Yeah, that really sucks, but go figure.

Herman Cain scares the living shit out of the libs/dems. That is why they are ignoring him right now. Once he can't be ignored, they will go into attack mode. What the people supporting him need to do is flip the MSM media playbook and any attack on Cain should be characterized as raaaacist.
The MSM media won't use that angle though. They will dredge up everything they can on the man and make a story out of it if he wins the nomination. Especially his support of the Fairtax and his association with Boortz.. Gotcha questions won't do it to Herman. The man is smart. He will eat the MSM media alive and they know it.

I'm not dismissing him, however given the current state of the GOP, I fail to see how he could get the nomination. he's too conservative.
