It's a Midianite school so I'm not surprised.  Like the Quakers and the Amish, they are a traditionally non-confrontational, peaceful people.  As far as their lifestyle, they're as socially conservative as you can get, but they just are very much against any sort of conflict that results in warfare.

Sure, in so far as raping your sister is non confrontational and peaceful.

Any word on whether these flag dragging Mennonites are accepting any Federal assistance for their humble little school?

One less federally subsidized school.  Sounds fine to me.

These whiny little bitches ARE the next generation.

We've progressively become more pussified with every generation since at least the second WW. My grandparents would be rolling in their graves knowing what the youth of today is like.

Imagine what the generation they spawn will be like ?

Free, I believe I know what you are speaking of.

Was this the case of a young girl that was terrorised by her brothers and with no help from family and comunity fled and ---Gasp--pressed charges on her family????

Unheard of or so the comunity said-----One brother sentinced to 40 years in prison, the other on who has a wife and children sentenced to just weekends in jail as he had to work all week to support his family.

I find nothing  wrong with the Pacific's, they also serve as medics in the military and head out into the Peace Corp, there is much to do as a Pacifist in our country and the world.

However when the chips are down some Pacifists will arm them themselves against personal assult.

Very complicated ideas that vary among people.   Some will defend themselves against personal assult but refuse to go to war against the non personal attackers.     Interesting mind set.

I know that Mennonite schools in Nebraska and Kansas don't take government money, even though it costs them to "conform" with government standards.  This college in Indiana may be different, however.

As USA4ME pointed out, they're an old and established group, of which pacifism is a major tenet of theirs.

These aren't hippies or flower children or slackers; they were pacifists in the Old Country back when being a pacifist put one into peril.

I'd give them a "pass" on this, as they're obviously legitimate pacifists with antecedents going back a few hundred years (rather than back only to our Age of Aquarius), and their numbers don't amount to much.

The greatest generation gave us the filthy hippie generation so I'm hoping it works the opposite.

Reaping all of the benefits of those who would defend freedom while bearing none of the cost.

Sounds about right for a bunch of pussies.  Or DUmmies.  But I repeat myself.

I'm with you on this one , Frank. I'd give them a pass, too.
