Title: "Face The Nation"
Post by: JohnnyReb on June 05, 2011, 11:08:12 AM
So I didn't go to church this morning...I'm still a fundie in the DUmmies book.

So I watched "Face The Nation". They had Gov. Haley Barbour(sp?) on and he made several good points and old Bob let him and even agreed on some points....then there was Nancy Pelosi... :rotf:... she used the "Intelligent Stammer" a lot(remember that one) and talked and talked and never said a damn thing. Old Bob seemed to come down hard on her and the democrats.

Could MSM be getting the idea that they made a bad mistake in backing Obama and the democrats? Answer, NO, but they may be having some regrets.

Oh, and Nancy P. said or let it slip that the south and west was suffering the most blah, blah, blah....well, if that's true we all know why...wink-wink.

I caught a little of the program before I went to church, and yeah, ol' Haley did not pull any punches.

Paraphrased:

"The current administration's policies have led to [enter one disaster after another] to the point that the economy is tanked, our allies have been insulted to the 11th power, etc., etc."

While that phrase, "the current administration" followed by one catastrophe after another is definitely not news on the Sunday news programs (which are thinly disguised as mouthpieces for the administration in current power), it was refreshing to see so much truth come out in such a short period of time.

I had to get to church after all, JR. I had a solo to play.      :rotf:

...the administration in current power..."

If the current administration was Republican they'd be silent.

I most certainly do not agree.

I can't tell you how many times I tuned in to many of the Sunday news shows, Face the Nation being the most watched, I suppose, and saw Bush 41's people, Clintoon's people, Bush 43's people, and now Barry's people all spouting their individual memes while Bob Schieffer, et. al., provide them the rostrum from which to speak.

It's disgusting, actually. And yet Schieffer calls himself a ****ing journalist.

In a pig's ass.
