A simple question: Are the Republicans really FOR anything?   Updated at 3:22 AM

Besides their own enrichment, I mean.

Everywhere I look, I see nothing but negativity from them. I guess what triggered me was seeing the post about the San Joaquin River.

They deny women the right to choose. They deny our need for clean water, clean air, safe food and medicines...

ALL negative.

Do they see anything in a positive light?

What no poem about it?  :whatever:

Here's what we're for:
Life
Liberty
The pursuit of happiness.

Something I was thinking about in regards to the judge who ruled against freedom of speech at graduations is that a lot of people can't seem to grasp the concept of "congress shall make no law..."

Yeah Calpig, I want dirty air and water for my kids. The dirtier the better. I want food for them to be Russian roulette and the jackpot would be if they got a terrible case of food poisoning and died. Oh and I want medication that has no oversight at all so we never know what we are taking. It's the thrill of not knowing don't you know.

You people are complete loones.

Or seems to follow his self-destructive path (Dems?).

A simple question: Are the Republicans really FOR anything?

Yes, you brain-dead dunt, we are.  We are "FOR" stopping you cretins from totally ****ing up this country with your taxes, over regulation, and any other nanny state bullshit that you yank out of your tiny heads.

We are "FOR" preventing you from ever getting close to control of anything ever again.

It's a good thing for Calpig that it's not Lou Holtz you're referring to.

My dear CaliforniaPeggy

Ever have you chanced to read
democraticunderground.com

hate, hate, hate, hate

all that is good and normal
is shunned
and repelled away

ban, ban, ban, ban

wrong is uplifted
and death of others cheered

grave dancing, grave dancing, grave dancing

the fact you asked the question
makes one wonder if
all your brain cells are dead

if so and your head feels wet
it may be your board members

grave pissing, grave pissing, grave pissing.

No, CalPig.  What I want is food, water and medicine that is ****ING AFFORDABLE and is free of nanny-state-ism, which is absolutely what you WILL NOT GET UNDER DEMOCRATS.

Well, I guess that's it for moonbat Mike Malloy, a DUmp icon who's a dead ringer for both Applewhite and the CalPig.

Is that the best you got, Peg ?

The standard ' the party of no stands for nuttin' but negativity' line that you 'morans' come up with every election season ?  Lame.

Is this all Obama has Calpeg?

With the report released today that showed unemployment climbing to 9.1% and all indications pointing to a slowing economy, one has to ask, how is Obamanomics working out for America?

Take a look at these numbers since Obama took office in 2009:

1. 23.7% increase in unemployment.

2. 35.1% increase of food stamps recipients.

3. Number of long term unemployed has increased 146%.

4. The national debt has increased 32.2% from $10.627 trillion to $14.052 trillion.

5. Americans considered to be in poverty has increased 9.5%.

There is more than enough blame to go around, but what we need are solutions. It is evident that the trillions in stimulus, massive new government intervention in health care and banking, and the devaluation of the dollar have not worked.

The United States should have been out of the original recession by the end of 2009, beginning of 2010. This recession should have taken the form of the prior recessions that closed out the 1980s and 1990s business cycles.

The main differences between Lou Holtz and the CalPig are that the CalPig has a bigger Adam's apple, and Coach Holtz is a better poet.

My dear Calpig, you ignorant slut:

You are denied nothing.  Women have the right to choose, but that also includes female unborn infants who also have the right to choose whether to live; they just don't know it yet.

And how exactly do conservatives deny your need for clean air, clean water, safe food, and medicines?  Seriously.  Get real, Peg.

It's called common sense.  Humans are at the top of the chain on this planet.  Only in the liberal mind is a silly little fish or lizard more important than the care and livelihood of human beings.

Now Peg - are you a man or a woman?  Do you think you could live the way you live and wear your manly clothes in one of these Muslim countries?  No.  You'd be wearing a burqua but I'm sure you'd have some silly little poem about it anyway.

I see my enrichment in a very positive light, and I hope the CalPig does, too.
After all, what's good for GOBUCKS is good the the USA, and surely the CalPig wants the USA to prosper.
I also see CalPig poetry in a positive light. It's hilarious, in its own, uniquely embarrassing, and usually penetrating, way.

Evidently she's never read her own forum. There's more misery at DU than there is on a busy night at the suicide prevention hotline.

We are for keeping energy prices down by producing our own, and thereby allowing even the poor the ability to heat and cool their homes.

We are for the free speech and religious rights guaranteed by our constitution, even for Christians and conservatives.

We are for the right to control your own body, even if you are not yet born.  Even if you are in or on a moving vehicle.  Even if you choose to take horrible risks by drinking raw milk.

We are for our country's right to protect itself and its citizens, whether from terrorists or invaders.

We are for our states and leaving them the rights guaranteed in our constitution.

We are for prosecuting for murder regardless of the age, location, development, race, religion, etc. of the victim.

We are for stopping bullying for all children, not just the "special" ones.

We are for a good education for all children, even if that means they leave the public school system and go to a **gasp** private Christian school with a voucher.

We are most definitely for limited government, reducing the Federal government - not the military - and all its burden to the American economy.

I'm for all that stuff, because it contributes to my enrichment.
