6. I think it had to do with this thread
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...
and comparing Baltimore to North Korea
Could be. Any DUmmie should know that North Korea is more like Detroit than Baltimore.
:rimshot:
-
I kept waiting for a ~sarc in that NK thread, but, it never came. Still a little surprising.

20. The intelligence on this board just plummeted considerably.
She will definitely be missed. :(
No actually the Intelligence of DU jumped up just a tad, with one less idiot there.

I don't know, have you ever watched the TV show "The Wire"? Baltimore is not exactly presented as a bastion of safety.

A deserved pizza, though she was just repeating official DU ideology. This is just PR.

10. Well, you know there are some die hard marxist types around...
...who simply refuse to believe the communist system they so believe in fails everywhere it has ever been tried.
North Korea is perhaps the most glaring example of command and control marxist economic catastrophe, but there are a few lost souls who can't accept it. That there are actually people around (even a couple on DU) who feel the need to defend North Korea and try to suggest it really isn't all that bad is pretty sick. It shows you that fanatics will close their eyes to almost anything in order to avoid having to accept that the things they believe in were just wrong all along.
And yes, I know the thread is sarcasm and what it was posted to refute.
Here comes another one. Must not defy the hive, Comrade.

Oh, no! Did she get a TOMB STONE?

Thread to call on Hannah Bell's tombstoning to be overturned
Hannah is a radical voice, but she was never personally abusive or offensive to anyone. If people disagreed with her, it should have been enough that they had the right to debate her.
Tombstoning Hannah was a massive and totally unjustified overreaction to the simple act of posting an unpopular opinion.
In the name of decency and at least some degree of free speech, the mods need to rethink this, apologize to Hannah, and let her come back.
She did nothing that was unforgiveable.
Please K&R if you agree with me on this.
(And yes, this thread may get locked, but something had to be said).

Well, you know batshit crazy Hannah Bell will be welcome among the smug snots at OET.
At OET, DUmmy Andrea could not be persuaded to ban nutcase nadin, even after her classic plea, "For ****'s face, Andrea, TOOMBSTONE ME!"

Please relocate to NK.
No?
Why not, dear girl?
Please, we beg you, why not?

We have Baltimore to thank for Undergroundpanther, Miss Waverly (patron saint of the dust bunnies), and Stimpy the catbox squatter.
DUmmy flyarm slummed there until the Orioles dumped Buck Martinez as a broadcaster.
The only reason I can think a normal person would visit Baltimore is if you get a cheaper fare through BWI airport,
or if you want to check on a rotund, redheaded DUmp scamster.

Bless her pea-pickin' heart.

sorry for the back-to-back.

Indeed. Her only real crime that got her the pizza was openly stating what many of the DUmmies felt inside, yet didn't want to openly speak because of how it would embarass them.

I lived there for a year and a half, about ten years ago. Nice place to visit, if you're careful where you go and when you go there. Not a place you'd want to live or try keep a family safe and secure.

I visited there once. Had lunch somewhere near the waterfront and saw the relatively new ballpark (Camden Yards). Seemed nice there.

The riverfront is nice. A few blocks over, you better be packing some heavy machinery.

Having read the CC thread pointing to the thread on the island where Hannah defended NK, I'm not really too surprised. The purpose of Skin's island is to corral the freaks into one corner of the internet and have them conform to a what they view as a reasonable form of lunacy. Sure, they can all believe that Cuba and NK are paradises and that the USSR was a wonderful country, and no doubt 95%+ of the primtives are in agreement with that, but they aren't suppose to say it outloud, that's why the PM system is to be used. Hannah kept pushing the envelope of saying outloud what the primitives believe, and the Dems can't have that. Time to send her packing.

Uh huh, one wonders when Yugo starts to topple, if the Yugoistas over there remember that.
Of course the primitives love Yugo dearly, but probably at that point, it'd be a good idea for them to keep those feelings behind the curtain.

Yep. Fell's Point and the adjacent harbor, and Fort McHenry - fine by day, great place for a bucket of crabs and a few cold ones with a bud or two. Best stay within about five blocks of the water though. The B&O/C&O museum not in as good a part of twon, but definitely worth it for train/transportation buffs.

Ahh the house that Ripken built. :-)
That was one thing that my home state did right. They will never sell the name of Oriole Park. It will never be Massingill stadium or anything like that.
For those that have never been there it is truly the crown jewel of the major league and a day there is well spent. I have meet quite a few Yankees fans from up north that will never see them play up there. They prefer the friendlier southern crowds and the clean and beautiful ball park.
I love Maryland but hate the fact that it has turned into a socialist cesspool.

Meh...Maybe if the Pack played the Ravens in an away game. I like the Ravens as well, so it'd be a tough game. Other than that, no.
Good riddance, Hannah. :cheersmate:
