Let's say the economy is exactly as it is today, but that the year was . . . .  (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1209452)

  . . . . 2003 and george bush were president.

Would you be defending the economy, saying there's a recovery underway, telling people who see the situation as very bad they were mistaken or just plain stupid to think so? Would you be blowing sunshine wherever you go?

Or would you be screaming bloody blue murder that things really ARE that bad and there is no end in sight?

For the record, I do not think Obama caused this depression (some call it a deep recession - whatever it is, it ain't good). I think this is the result of decades of supply side economics and ongoing, incremental, system change that has allowed for the migration of wealth from the people to the few.

Answer - you DUmmies would be screaming bloody murder that it was all ChimpyMcBushHitler's fault.  Silly question, Stinky.  Very silly.

It's funny how all those years of supply side economics produced unheralded prosperity but it all ended when hardcore socialists were put in charge of the US Congress in January 2007. I'm sure that is just a coincidence.

Not to mention, the economy was doing well in the 90's under Clinton, one of their heroes, and it was all supply-side. Those idiots couldn't put together two legos with an instruction manual.

I knew we couldn't agree for long, you don't think it had anything to do with Democrats taking the House in 2006 and spending like drunken Sailors? and you don't think Obama's continued record spending is halting any recovery in the Economy?
