Palin & Lamestream Media forcing Producers & Reporters into dangerous car chases of bus
Edited on Tue May-31-11 06:49 PM by RamboLiberal
Yet the reemergence of the GOP's larger-than-life 2008 vice presidential candidate - who says she is strongly considering a run for president - is undeniably news. Which is why more than a dozen national news outlets have sent reporters and producers out to try and follow Palin.
Since Palin and her team won't share where the potential candidate is headed, reporters and producers have little choice but to simply stay close to Palin's bus. This has resulted in scenes of the Palin bus tooling down the highway followed by a caravan of 10 or 15 vehicles all trying to make sure they don't lose sight of the Palin bus.
It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.
"I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don't get in a car crash, because this is dangerous," he said.
Corsaro asked a member of Palin's team if he thought it was dangerous to have reporters forced to chase her from stop to stop. "You're the ones that are trailing us," he replied.

1. Why is she news?
why does the lamestream media insist on covering her every move, tweet and Facebook post?
My cat is more interesting.
Why do DUmmies insist on starting multiple threads about every move the media reports?

4. "reporters and producers have little choice" ???
Um yeah, they do. Quit following her around. Then, we could all enjoy her tantrums about being ignored.
But if the media quit following her, how would you know she threw a tantrum about being ignored?

6. CBS claims that she is "undeniably news"

If there's an accident - or a fatality, God forbid - the media nitwits will have no one but themselves to blame. Because I can categorically deny that that antics of Sarah Palin are "news" in the generally accepted definition of the term. If you're talking about prurient interest in an exhibitionist then, yes, you could call it news. But as for anything substantive, edifying for the general public? Mrs. Palin is the news equivalent of a fast-food "cheese" burger.
I know Lady Di wasn't mentioned, but the parallels are there, and I'm sure the DUmmies hope for a similar result.

Holy crap. That's real nice. Pay no attention to the awesome woman who is garnering all these stupid liberal paparazzi. Doesn't matter if she gets hurt for some reason. "We just hope, and pray none of the media gets in a car crash..."
Corsaro, you're a giant jerk!

Given their use of LAMESTREAM media it appears they follow her more than they're willing to admit.

The media is hoping they can catch her attending a KKK meeting or something like that.

Very good Weed Hopper, you have learned well. They are there for the tearing down not the building up.
-
The media has no idea that Sarah is playing them for fools by not announcing her destinations.
They can't understand it and are focusing more on her than on anyone else. She's gaining far more publicity that she would have otherwise.
Further she foils the protesters who would spoil any setting they could.
Sarah is brilliant.

Hmmmmm...seems to me that nobody is forcing the media outlets to do jack shit.

I have just watched politics and the media long enough, to realize what is going on.
They follow her around hoping they can find something to create a scandal over. Whether its her misspeaking (like saying North instead of South Korea), or shaking hands with a guy who's second cousin's former roommate's uncle was once a member of the Klan.

I do think the media should be doing other things LIKE ASKING OBAMA about the economy, unemployment, Afghanistan etc. the fact that the media is concentrating on Sarah is self serving reasons, by doing that they don't have to focus on all the bad that Obama has perpetrated on us.

If they weren't stalking Sarah, they would be smooching Obama's butt.

Yeah, but we KNOW they're stalking Sarah, you can't tell if they've STOPPED smooching Zero's butt.

The press cannot. He hasn't stopped playing golf long enough for them to get a question in.

A few excerpts from Rush's show today: (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_053111/content/01125109.member.html)
The medias been complaining "There is no official schedule. She has no advance teams. How can we know that she's going to show up?" - "Governor Palin likes to call us "the lame stream media." Her organization refuses to give us the schedule."
PALIN: I don't think I owe anything to the mainstream media. I think that it would be a mistake for me to become some kind of conventional politician, and doing things the way it's always been done with the media in terms of relationship with them telling them to come along. "We'll orchestrate this, we'll script this, and we'll basically write a story for you, media, about what we're doing every day!"
No, I want them to have to do a little bit of work on a tour like this. It's not about me, it's not a publicity-seeking tour, it's about highlighting the great things about America, and the media can figure out where we're going if they do their investigative work or they're gonna keep, kinda, as you put it, going crazy trying to figure out what we're doing here.
RUSH: She's just not doing anything the way she's supposed to, folks! Not doing anything according to the rules, not doing anything according to the way the ruling class elites say it should be done. She's not doing anything right. >>> They are totally discombobulated. They can't stand it. They can't stand any of it. They can't stand the fact that she's happy, they can't stand the fact she's making money, they can't stand the fact she's got a bus and she's got the family on the bus. She's traveling around, and they can't stand the fact that she's not telling anybody where she's going.
They can't stand the fact she didn't call the Republican Party in New Hampshire. They can't stand the fact that she's not a team player. Of course, when she was on the team, where were they? They were doing everything they could... >>> They weren't stabbing her in the back >>> They were stabbing her in the front trying to get rid of her.

This has resulted in scenes of the Palin bus tooling down the highway followed by a caravan of 10 or 15 vehicles - including a massive CNN bus - all trying to make sure they don't lose sight of the Palin bus.

This is great stuff. She's going right over the old news media's head. And whatever happened to old fashioned "reporting"? Whatever happened to "investigative journalism"? Don't reporters do anything for themselves anymore? This is cool and fun to watch. Very "Reaganesque" imho.

I can't believe one of the LSM scumbags haven't put a tracking device on her bus yet.

Another Week, Another Shovelful Into the Grave of the Old Media (http://bigjournalism.com/kschlichter/2011/06/01/another-week-another-shovelful-into-the-grave-of-the-old-media/)
There’s a scene in Platoon >>> where Willem Defoe’s character is running from the pursuing communists and we see him take hit after hit, stumbling, getting up, stumbling some more, and then finally, inevitably, and despite the best efforts of his comrades, dropping dead. Except for the communists doing the pursuing, it’s not unlike the mainstream media’s current predicament – enduring failure after humiliating failure, it’s only a matter of time before it expires. And this week, the new conservative media tossed a couple more shovelfuls of dirt into its open grave.
The first load was hurled in by none other than Sarah Palin – you know, the woman too dumb to tie her own shoes, as demonstrated by her shocking failure to realize that her lack of a Yale diploma disqualifies her from participation in the political process. Except the woman the MSM is doing everything it can to portray as the Clown Princess of Conservatism has tied the MSM itself up in knots.
Her bus tour, whether the prelude to a campaign for the presidency or merely as way to take over the conversation from our embattled president, was straight out of “The Art of War†by Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu counseled his students to know their enemies as they know themselves, and to take advantage of their enemies’ weaknesses and laziness. And that’s just what Sarah has done.
Two huge weaknesses of the MSM are its boundless self-regard and the lack of residual goodwill among the American people, a consequence of decades of shameless shilling for every pinko with social program and a “D†behind his name. Sarah’s bus tour – as did her conversion of her Facebook page into a kind of unassailable right-wing Olympus from which she issues pronouncements – went straight at those weaknesses. She’s like a new media Patton in heels, applying her strengths to their vulnerabilities.
She talked to the fair and respectful Greta Van Susteren of Fox News but simply ignored the MSM. Naturally, the MSM has reacted by going into full Glenn Close bunny-boiling mode with spasms of hilarious whining about how it won’t be ignored!
=================================
Excellent article to read in its entirety. The MSM (an appendage of the DNC) or "State run" media is the enemy of the American people and must be defeated. This is the kind of leadership we need against the socialist hordes imho. Go Sarah!

If they had made the connection, they'd have all wished for her death. They're all anti-death/murder, etc., unless it's a baby or their political opponent. It's how Marxists are.
