O'Bama? Oh puh-lease!

Ah Bejaysus and Begorrah! Oi’ll be swearin’ boi the auld shrine to the Vorgin with the shamrocks growin’ round it next to the hill where Cuchullain slew the Great Leprechaun of Kildare on St Patrick’s Day that Barack Seamus O’Toole Flaherty Joyce O’Bama is the most Irish US president that ever set foot on the Emerald Oisle, so he is, so he is.

Except, when he’s in Africa, of course, when he disappears into the dry ice and re-emerges with a grass skirt and a bone through his nose and declares himself to be Mandingo, Prince of the Bloodline of the Bonga People, Drinker of Cattle Urine, Father of A Thousand Warrior Sons, Keeper of King Solomon’s Mines, Barehanded Slayer of Lions, Undaunted Victim of the Evil Colonial British Empire.

And in the Middle East, where he is Al-Barak Hussein Obama, Protector of the Holy Shrine, Smiter of the Kuffar, Lion of the Desert, Tent-Loving-Aficionado-of-the-Oversweetened-Coffee, Chomper of Sheeps’ Eyeballs, Restorer of the Caliphate.

(snip)

My colleague Damian Thompson appears to be under the impression that Obama is a great guy because he said nice things about the Queen. Look, I think the Queen’s great too, but did it really not occur to my distinguished colleague (and editor) that there might have been a hint of an ulterior motive here? Obama can’t stand Britain (his wife likes us even less): he made that clear enough when he sent back Winston Churchill’s bust and dissed our Prime Minister with those dodgy DVDS. He blames us for what happened to his grandfather during Mau Mau. He doesn’t believe in the Special Relationship. Are we honestly supposed to believe in that during the subsequent year in office, Obama has since acquired such wisdom and insight that he suddenly realises how special we are?

Faith and Begora!!!  :o

I've noticed a lot of democrat presidents take world tours on their last leg in office (on the tax payer dime).
Obama has been doing this since he started...

Yeah, but at least the Rolling Stones don't need no stinkin' teleprompter.

Yeah, but at least the Rolling Stones don't need no stinkin' teleprompter.

And they are far more entertaining.

Yeah, but so are circus fleas, so not sure the Stones had such a high hurdle to overcome.

Actually, compared to Obama, circus fleas are deserving of a star in Hollywood.

 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You just never know what will pop out of the gene pool.

My neighbor really amazed me, she and husband were black and their daughter looked like them except for one most amazing fact.   The 2 year old had emerald green eyes.

This toddler was so amazing looking she drew a crowd when her mother took her shopping.  Blacks and Whites would wander over and stare at the child like she was some kind of zoo animal.

Genetics can be tricky,  Who Knows what will jump out of the gene pool a few generations down the line. The mother showed me pictures of her Grand parents, the  grand parent mother was a mixed black, the  grandparent of her grandmother  was a former slave. Gets confusing here as I am trying to remember back 40 yeas ago. Somewhere in here an ancestor had married an Irish immigrate and his picture showed a red or blond man with blue eyes--   Hard to tell as the photo's were black an white.  So at least 6 generations of black to black marriage and out of he blue, or should I say green,  a child is born with the genes for eye color going back 160+ years ago.

Obama best hold onto his hat when his girls marry, his Irish roots may give him a dark skinned red haired ,blue eyed ,grandchild.

In my life the last two born 18 months apart same father, one is a blue eyed blond the baby has brown eyes and dark hair. 3 grandparents are blue eyed one had green eyes.  There are charts from long ago I remember as to how eye color is suppose to be determined by genetics, today we know that a wandering gene from long ago can overcome the dominate genes and cause all kinds of problems for the baby's family

I find no fault with Obama finding an Irish Ancestor any more with Kate finding a g-g grandparent that worked the mines in Wales.
