Why are Republicans against everything fair, decent and sane?

I guess there’s no profit in fairness, decency, or sanity.

Take a step back and view what has been the entire agenda of the Republican Party for the past 30 years. While using the word “reform,” they have strived to **** the American people every way possible. Want some examples?

The disappearing middle class; education; health care; jobs; no taxes on the wealthy; no sanely priced prescriptions for the rest of us; the total destruction of the social safety net, -- Oh, hell. Do I really need to go through the entire litany of what they have done and are still doing to us?

The zombies will go on voting for Republicans no matter what. Yet, I don’t understand why the rest of us aren’t raising hell against the Republican owned voting machines.

The lack of Democratic leadership is appalling. And the number of times that Dems cave in on critical issues is disgusting. So, ever though the Republicans really suck a lot, the Democratic Party has been out to lunch for 30 years. Perhaps the ghost of Ronald Reagan still haunts them.

So how do we turn America into a somewhat fair, somewhat decent, somewhat sane country? Beats me. Any suggestions?

2. Greed Blinds...

...the addiction to money and power dulls one senses of common decency and fairness. Add to that arrogance and ignorance and you have today's rushpublicans..

5. They're not sane, rational, or fair people. It's the "I've got mine and **** you" crowd.

As compared to you DUmmies who think : I'm lazy and like pot and Cheetos. Take their money and buy me more".

7. What is fair? That is the big question for me.

I don't believe that someone who works super hard and is extremely intelligent and makes good sound decisions and becomes wealthy on his own accord should be penalized to be made 'fair' with someone who isn't as intelligent, doesn't make as good of decisions, and who doesn't work as hard.

That is one problem I have with the word fair, what really is fair? Shouldn't people be rewarded if they work harder than others? Do I feel that the wealthy should pay no taxes? Of course not but they should not be penalized to the point of paying 99 percent taxes or some crazy amount like that.

But what is fair and reasonable while still rewarding certain behaviors?

Freeper Troll.

16. Good Question

"works super hard and is extremely intelligent and makes good sound decisions and becomes wealthy on his own accord.."

But how many current heads of corporations can claim all of these standards as to why they are wealthy?

I would say none...

DUmmies lie.

23. Actually I have never read any of them. And my own situation isn't exactly pleasant.

I have a disabled wife (brain injury) who can't get SSI because she was a stay at home mom for many years, been out of work for over a year now, no more money left in the bank at all, on the verge of losing a house, so its not like I am doing all that well myself. But I still don't begrudge someone that makes a lot of money because of their better intelligence, discipline, or strive.

I just wish I had the intelligence, discipline and strive that a lot of people have in this world and then maybe I would not be in my dire situation.

However those people that do quite well in this world DO need to pay a fair amount of taxes.

Give him credit, he hit all the typical DUmmie excuses.  :lmao:

11. To answer your question...

In one word, selfishness. How do we turn it around?? Nothing will start to change until tens of thousand of citizens take to the streets in every state.

Not gonna happen. DUmmies are too lazy, and the rest of us are busy making money and a life for ourselves.

25. For those at the top it's greed. They control the rest with fear.

Every single cause the republicans have is driven by bogeymen

29. The unfair, indecent, and insane will never be for fairness, nor decency, nor

a sane approach to any issue.

So, you're saying the DUmmies will never change?

I think Cyrano is a mole. Surely no person, not even a DUmmie, can be that stupid in real life.

How much has government grown over the last 100 years?

And yet the statists claim things are worse than before.

We aren't cruel and greedy we just refuse to keep funding failure.

That would involve something you'd probably regard as a Crime Against Humanity, since you'd be on the receiving end of it, and we aren't going to start it.

Uh, a normal person can't possibly be as whiny as Oscar Wilde, even in acting.

No way.

Whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, is all the large-proboscised primitive does.

He's so whiny I got the intuitive feeling one of these days franksolich is going to burn his supermole on Cyrano, reaming his ass.  Patience has limits.

The disappearing middle class; education; health care; jobs;

Open your eyes. It can all be traced back to the greed of public sector unions. Everything has increased to cover their exorbitant salaries and bennies.
