Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.   :cheersmate:

And yes, just another day...finished unpacking the final two boxes, straightened up around the house (which really means cleaning up after the kids), ran some errands, etc.  I was going to buy/plant some flowers, but the rain put an end to that idea.   :(


My kids made me some really nice birthday cards this morning...nothing like a homemade kid card to make mommy get all teary-eyed.  :)

H5 for your birthday. It sounds like it's a very nice one. And best wishes again on your wonderful new life. It will get better after all that unpacking is done. We've been here almost a year and still have a few boxes to unpack.

Sparky was right after all, it wasn't "just another day", as its been for the last umpteen years.


He surprised me by coming home early from work (he and my daughter were in cahoots, the brats), had a huge birthday cake in hand, arranged to have pizza delivered for my mom and the kidlets, then surprised me further by telling me that he was taking me out for "date night". I got treated to an absolutely wonderful dinner, had some drinks, and spent some much needed one-on-one time with my guy. It was the bestest burfday evah.
