9/11 Warning summer of 2000.

Bush and friends claim that they had no idea that terrorists would fly into the World Trade Center.
But I specifically remember a TV news story about a year or 2 before, that there was a fear that terrorists would fly into the WTC Towers. They showed a video of the towers and I thought to myself at the time how horrible that would be and how easy too.
Its possible the story might even have been summer 2001.
It made more of an impact on me because I went to the top floor of the WTC a few years before as a tourist to NY.
I wonder if it would be possible to find that press release somewhere on the internet. Can anybody find it?
When 9/11 happened I remember how horrified I was and that THAT WARNING I heard ACTUALLY came TRUE!

1. I remember reading on the Drudge Report circa 1998 or 1999 that
OBL had expressed an interest in bringing down the WTC entirely since the first attempt in 1993 was unsuccessful. So yeah, it should have been on somebody's radar.

2. Here's the information Bush & Co had starting in JANUARY 2001:
The National Security Archive today posted the widely-debated, but previously unavailable, January 25, 2001, memo from counterterrorism coordinator Richard Clarke to national security advisor Condoleezza Rice - the first terrorism strategy paper of the Bush administration.
The document was central to debates in the 9/11 hearings over the Bush administration's policies and actions on terrorism before September 11, 2001.
Clarke's memo requests an immediate meeting of the National Security Council's Principals Committee to discuss broad strategies for combating al-Qaeda by giving counterterrorism aid to the Northern Alliance and Uzbekistan, expanding the counterterrorism budget and responding to the U.S.S. Cole attack.
Despite Clarke's request, there was no Principals Committee meeting on al-Qaeda until September 4, 2001.

Okay DUmb dicks let's just say, for arguments sake, that President Bush was told straight out that sometime in 2001 al-Qaeda terrorists were going to fly planes into the WTC. What could he have done to make you lunatics happy? The answer is nothing.
He could ground all planes. That would piss you and everybody off. OR he could keep the planes flying and give extra scrutiny to the arabs and muslims. What would happen then? Wasn't Clinton the POTUS during the summer of 2000? I remember after every terror attack during the Clinton era, he would make some big speech promising to pursue the terrorist scum to the ends of the earth and then he would seek out a bimbo to lay.
Could Bush have done more leading up to 9/11? No doubt, but the whole country was asleep. After 9/11 most of us were awake but you DUmmies never wake up. If Clinton had went into Afghanistan in early 2000 claiming to go after bin Laden, then Gore might have won the election. It's Clinton's fault that Gore lost.

Two Months Before 9/11, an Urgent Warning to Rice
On July 10, 2001, two months before the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, then-CIA Director George J. Tenet met with his counterterrorism chief, J. Cofer Black, at CIA headquarters to review the latest on Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist organization. Black laid out the case, consisting of communications intercepts and other top-secret intelligence showing the increasing likelihood that al-Qaeda would soon attack the United States. It was a mass of fragments and dots that nonetheless made a compelling case, so compelling to Tenet that he decided he and Black should go to the White House immediately.
Tenet called Condoleezza Rice, then national security adviser, from the car and said he needed to see her right away. There was no practical way she could refuse such a request from the CIA director.
For months, Tenet had been pressing Rice to set a clear counterterrorism policy, including specific presidential orders called "findings" that would give the CIA stronger authority to conduct covert action against bin Laden. Perhaps a dramatic appearance -- Black called it an "out of cycle" session, beyond Tenet's regular weekly meeting with Rice -- would get her attention.
Tenet had been losing sleep over the recent intelligence he'd seen. There was no conclusive, smoking-gun intelligence, but there was such a huge volume of data that an intelligence officer's instinct strongly suggested that something was coming. He and Black hoped to convey the depth of their anxiety and get Rice to kick-start the government into immediate action.
