Dozens of earthquakes hit unlikely state of Maine in unusual seismic swarm
Friday, May 06, 2011 by: Jonathan Benson, staff writer
(NaturalNews) Last weekend, a mysterious swarm of earthquake events struck the US state of Maine in what seismic experts have dubbed a "microquake" event. A region not typically prone to earthquakes, portions of Maine allegedly feel a small shake or two in an average year as a result of earth plate movement, but in recent days there have been dozens of shaking events, which has stirred up area residents. And though geologists insist that the earthquakes are nothing to worry about, some locals have expressed concern that the quake swarm might be an atypical precursor to something worse.

Bush's fault.

Oops. Sorry. I ate at Toxic Hell last night.

If the Earth is shaking...it must be from "climate cooling".

Did Vesta eat beans for dinner the night before??

Perhaps that's what I felt up here the other day? Nova Scotia's not to far away and we've had minor ones before.
Even the idea of that many bothers me.

Meanwhile in Maine...

Are you ****ing shitting me? 1.5-1.7?
I fart bigger than that. This is equivalent to blasting a rockface for road construction. I'm not joking. This is PATHETIC.

The biggest one on here is 1.7. Barely perceptible even if you're right on top of it.

When I was in San Diego, the first earthquake I felt was a 4.3 shaker. That woke me up in a slight panic. After a couple of more of them, I got used to them and would sleep right through them all. Never experienced anything much over a 4.6.

Did Vesta eat beans for dinner the night before??
Indeed I did Thor, B&M baked beans to be exact. I think however it was the brown bread with raisins that did me in, all that wonderful butter and cold slaw---cabbage raw will do that to some people.
Thanks for the reminder Thor, now is the time to check out local news on the area Churches Baked Bean suppers that are held everywhere on Friday or Saturday nights.
With the cost of food going so high these really inexpensive dinners are about the only way to dine out-----Plus we meet some really nice folk from all over.
