Help me understand Herman Cain, please

Besides $$$$$, why would any self-respecting African-American be a Republican ? I don't get it.

The nerve of him to not have the beliefs that you think he should have.

10. As a black American woman who has confronted these folks from time to time.

One thing they feel is shame. They are ashamed of who they are, and they feel that they will be more embraced as a Republican. While I may understand the conservatism, especially on the social side, I cannot understand aligning oneself with the Republican Party on any other grounds except for shame.

 :mental:

Don't worry DUmmies, if he were to win the nomination the racist tea baggers would never vote for him, just like they didn't vote for Congressman West, oh wait they did.

Why is the first thing that comes into the primitives' mind is: Herman Cain = black man?

The first thing that comes into franksolich's mind is: Herman Cain = successful achiever.

Oh here we go.  There has got to be a way to combat this on the national stage that will make them understand the black conservative.  I don't have the answer, because they refuse to see.  This has got to be a national conversation, led by the conservative movement.

DUmmies, if you are sincerely interested, (which I doubt), you could always start here:

Project 21 (http://www.nationalcenter.org/P21Index.html)

and you could look up Star Parker's book, "Uncle Sam's Plantation."

(incidentally, one of the kittens we got from the Unwed Girl In Trouble we took in, I named Star, for Star Parker.  It was election night.)

Yup.  Dhimmi'Rats never change.  They may be able to disguise their insanity from time to time, but they can't hold it forever.

Before last election I posted a thread about Star - she is everything they hate - a woman of color who saw the light, and turned her life around. Its a shame she lost her congressional bid ( she got something like +- 30% of the vote running against an incumbent Dem in California ), but not surprising as she is still a newcomer. Hopefully we see more of her, and people like her.

That's the thing. If conservatives just wanted a black man in office, they'd have wholeheartedly supported Alan Keyes.

DUmmies ONLY know about group politics and collective thinking. Individual success is alien to those goons.

That is because you are a white liberal racist trafficking in racial stereotypes.

The biggest difference between we loving, decent, American folk, and you America-hating DUmmies is we are capable of feeling shame. You feel shame about nothing.

In order to defeat you scumbags, we have to remain civil and and loving while refusing to feel shame for what we are not guilty of. If Herman Cain feels guilt about anything, and I don't see why he should, it is probably something minor, a business mistake when he was a neophyte, that sort of thing. But he learned from the experience and moved on, as all of us loving, decent, American folk do.

Shame is a weapon of the shameless and it it time we stop feeling it because we have been brainwashed our whole lives.

Herman Cain looks as himself as a "black American", not an "African American", and looks to his hard work as responsible for his success. This is anathema to DUmmy logic. He understands the history, and will talk about his grandparents who were slaves, and his parents who were sharecroppers, but doesn't begrudge the country one damn bit. He understands we've grown and learned from our mistakes and knows that this is one of the few nations that DOES learn from it's mistakes. He's American, through and through.

Another question the DUmmie might ask itself is: How come liberals, who claim to cherish and champion the First Amendment shouted down Herman Cain when he came to Madison for a tea party rally a few months ago? I was at that one too, briefly, and the DUmmies were just as uncivil at that one (if not more so) as they were at the April 16th rally.

Liberals tend to shout down anyone with whom they disagree because their view of the First Amendment gives free speech ONLY to their views, just as "tolerance" means agreement with their beliefs and "oppression" means having to hear anything that challenges their "feelings."

Because you, dear coach, are not a racist who presumes to tell someone what they must believe based on their skin color.
