The left took an ideological 9mm round behind the right ear this week as their messiah blew-out their half a brain in a night time raid.
They tried claiming that waterboarding was illegal and ineffective. They tried saying the CIA "black sites" were bad. They tried to claim Cheney's JSOC death squads were evil made manifest. Invading soveriegn nations. No UN backing. Extra-judicial killings.
They all died that fateful night.
First they tried to claim none of these things were involved or that they were mitigated.
Now it looks like an outright kill operation with no intention of bringing back a live prisoner, even if UBL has surrendered like a screeching bitch (what is on the missing 25 minutes of tape dear lurkers? Kinda like Nixon's missing 18 minutes, huh?) and every "illegal" or "immoral" technique once damned under Bush was embraced by Obama.
"Quick! There has to be some way to salvage our ideology," the left is saying. "What ever will we say?"
PREDICTION: The new narrative will become, "Because Bush gained the intel under torture, incessant media propaganda about who perpetrated the 9/11 attack and Gitmo is a national disgrace where no new prisoners may be brought Bush forced Obama to kill UBL because Bush made a fair trial impossible
"Bush forced Obama to kill UBL even though Obama would have done the right thing!"
I give them 2 to 7 days until they start. Sooner if they read this post.

As with many things in life, reality is stranger than fiction. No doubt they'll come up with all sorts of things to justify holding all the various conflicting positions they hold. I'm also sure that whatever they turn out to be, it'll be more crazy than anything I could possibly imagine.

Obama didn't kill UBL, he assassinated everything the anti-war movement pretends to believe in.
Their complaints were already removed from reality, whether by design for the sake of politicking or through naivete, so to maintain their fictions they will be forced to retreat even further from reality.

Agree. It'll be a sight to see, that's for sure. I plan on getting a laugh or two watching them tie themselves in further knots. Your prediction will, no doubt, be one they'll strongly consider and possibly hang their hat upon.

Just got home and flipped on the TV...there's Obama observing a moment of silence at ground Zero. I guess he's in New York to lay the corner stone for the Ground Zero Mosque he approves of.

MSB, as far as innerwebz buzz like DU or KOS goes, there will certainly be some who go with your prediciton. It's still too unacceptable for mainstream Leftist pundits to go with on the air though, since is still pins the rose to Obama for the kill.
