If you kill someone who is pointing a gun or shooting at you it is NOT execution or assassination.

OBL might have believed he would never have been taken alive, but the moment he pointed a gun at a Navy Seal his fate was sealed and ultimately it was his choice. It really takes a birther type of fool to believe that OBL was not armed and would not have killed anyone he could when caught.

2. The White House didn't claim UBL was holding a gun.

A reporter asked John O. Brennan today if UBL was holding a gun, and Brennan said, “He was engaged in a firefight.”

That doesn't answer the question.

6. At todays WH Briefing, Director Brennan said Osama put up afight

there was a firefight and he was killed.

The Mission was to bring Osama out. If they could capture
without killing, great. If they had to kill, they would.

They knew Osama would never go down without a fight so
the kill order was in place.

Sounds like an assassination.

8. But Brennan refused to give a yes-or-no about whether UBL was holding a gun.

Putting up a fight could mean the actions of his bodyguards.

3. Why is this and issue. Most drone strikes can't distinguish innocent and guilty, aggressive or not

10. Because the Seals killed him, not a drone

Damn!  The DUmmies are making the case for Obama to be tried for War Crimes .  This mission did have the authorization of Obama himself, and it is Obama that has increased the use of drones in Pakistan that has resorted in many civilian deaths.

Some dude on a PBS News program this morning was whinning about how this went down. He was whinning that Bin Laden should have been captured and tried in the world court.

I'm praying for reality TV....A type of reality TV where I can reach in and choke some sense into people like that fool.

Well, my question is, if Osama bin-Ladin had been captured alive, what could we have done with him?

This was probably the best possible outcome, killing the hoary old madman on site.

Near the end of the second world war, a question was raised in the British Parliament, about what a British soldier should do, if he suddenly came face-to-face with Adolph Hitler--capture him or kill him?

The concensus was, if a British soldier came face-to-face with Adolph Hitler, whatever he did was okay with everybody else.

That sounds like those people that whine when armed citizens and police officers don't simply 'shoot the gun out of the criminal's hand'.

I will give Obama credit for ordering the kill.  Good job, Mr. President.

Yes, indeed, and good job as well to Bush and Cheney for paving the way. :cheersmate:

Funny how they're all staying away from; We went into a sovereign country to effect this raid ... without their consent.

I can only imagine what the DUmmies and MSM would be saying if this had happened when President Bush was still in office.

20. I'm glad they killed him instead of capturing him

Trying to give OBL a trial somewhere would have made the circus surrounding KSM's proposed trial in Manhattan seem tame by comparison. Better to take care of these issues in the field rather than taking these shitbags into custody and attempting to bring them to court.

Rage for Order is making sense--the Che solution.  I'll edit to add an idea I just had:  USA just did Osama like that commie peice of garbage Che.  I wonder if Rage for order would agree?

Exactly.
I am glad that he took a shot to the head and chest. Good riddance. Have fun in hell Osama.

I will give him credit too. It's kind of weird that Obama did something, and I don't feel the need to criticize him.

I think if they had brought him back alive, some military careers would have been wrecked.

9. All right! An eyewitness account
What kind of gun was bin Laden using? Single shot or fully automatic? It seems strange to me that in a "firefight" every last one of the bad guys was killed, but none of the good guys sustained so much as a hangnail. I mean, if this were a Hollywood script, you'd walk out, but the military's thrilling account can't be wrong, and now we have an eyewitness. More details, please!

A DUmmy calling the Navy SEALS liars? Check...

Hey DUmbass, when you are laying up on some rug and smoking a hookah and flash bangs suddenly detontate, getting your bearings to the trigger, much less, target acquistion and accurate shots ain't no easy trick.

Several guests on Fox News said this was almost certainly a "kill" mission.  If not, it should have been. My only gripe is how the DUmmies and MSM respond to this under Obama, and how they  acted under President Bush.
