Palo Alto, CA —
Dr. Walter Williams, an Economics professor at Stanford Univ., and his thoughts. Walter Williams, frequent guest host for Rush Limbaugh
Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can’t. I am going on record as saying that President Barak Obama will win a second term. The media won’t tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama’s case billions) of dollars to them in advertising. But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.

If Americans are "blind to economics", as Dr. Williams claims, then what happened to the catchphrase, "It's the economy, stupid" that spelled Bush I's doom? (That, plus, "No new taxes.")
I'll go with him on the black thing. Most blacks appear to be completely, ridiculously ignorant about Barry and prefer to stay that way. He's black (or half black -- that's good enough) and he's "one of us". Ergo, Barry gets the black vote.
And he'll get the hardcore Dem vote, because, well, just because they drink the Kool-Aid.
I'm not so sure about the Latino vote.
And besides the MSM, there are plenty of media sources that despise Lord Zero.
One thing that I think is crucial -- the independent vote, the swing vote. Those are the people that put Barry in office to begin with. When they abandon him because it costs $100 to fill the tank, Barry is done.
That, and other economic facts characterizing Barry's Reign of Terror will be enough to send his ass packing.

It appears that Dr Williams did not in fact pen this article. I have listened to and read Dr Williams for several years now.
One source that reprinted this article attributing it to Dr Williams has apologized for doing so without verifying it first.

And from Dr Williams own website at George Mason University ...

I love Walter Williams but I totally disagree with his assessment.
Yes blacks will vote overwhelmingly for Obama but no way will they vote in the high numbers they voted the last election, hard working blacks have been affected by the bad economy, they may say they're going to vote for Obama but in the poll booth? no way.
I also don't think woman are going to be fool, the hardcore regressive yes but not the moderate/independent.
Hispanics may vote for him in the majority but no way will they vote for him in as high numbers.

You guys have been seriously punked!!! Anyone who read Mr. Williams columns or listened to his radio broadcasts on a regular basis would know that he would never pen such a colossal farce. All you needed to do was go to his GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY web page to check the veracity of the article . . .

Good catch. It wasn't my intention to post an inaccurately attributed article.
